The Year 2016 In Review.
Get ready! Get ready! Get ready! I declare that in the year 2017 you will give birth to the visions and dreams that God has given you.
It’s nice to begin the New Year by looking back at some of the highlights and disappointments that happened during the past year. We can learn from our mistakes, and we can improve on our successes.
The highlighted words and phrases are the links to all the favorite posts in each month. Read through this article first then follow the links to refresh your memory on the wonderful things that God is doing.
I have had some great moments in 2016, but I have also had some terrible trials in my family. During the entire summer, my son was severely ill and I lost my husband.
During that time, I went to the bottom of the pit where I searched for a friend to sit with me in the ashes of despair.
But, God is always present wherever we find ourselves, and He rescued me and delivered me from the pangs of the serpent. We began 2016, by declaring the prophetic word over our lives for the entire month of January in the Daily Thanksgiving Devotion.
We reminded you that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you because the one who thinks he is mighty has fallen (Philippians 4:13).
The Prophecies encouraged you that there is hope in God because you are accepted into the family of God. The Lord is doing good work in your life so you can denounce every word that speaks against you.
We declared that your eyes will be opened to new revelations from God and you will not be ashamed because the terrible one is brought to naught.

Consider and hear me, O Lord my God; Enlighten my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death. (Psalms 13:3)
When the spirit of pride is humbled, your life will glorify God, and He will defend you against the enemy.
Keep Your Eyes on God
So, continue to follow the cloud and fire of God because He is the rainbow on a cloudy day. Mercy is always at your door and the heavens will be opened to you.
If you are a backslider, you are welcome to return to the Lord because He will take you back.
During the month of January, we encouraged you to leave the past failures behind and looked towards a future by making a clear pathway to God. We also reminded you that it is harvest time and we need to reap the millennial generation because this is the great move of God.
However, it is impossible for us to participate in this movement if we do not know our inheritance and are walking as fools instead of wise people.

Now hope does not disappoint because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5)
We need to love one other every day with the love of God, but in February we emphasized it. Hence, the Daily Devotion showed you who is love and inspired you to receive and abide in love so that you will be confident in your love to the extent where you can love strangers.
We have to love each other because loving your brothers means loving God.
This is the time for love, and God approves it because He is love. We can be like Him when we allow the Holy Spirit to live in our heart.
The Holy Spirit will teach you how to live a godly life so that we will be united together. He will fill you with His fullness so that you are complete in Him.

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. (James 1:27)
The general posts during the month of February reminded us that there are only one God and one love. When you become complete in God’s love you will do anything for Him even selling all your worldly goods to follow Him.
It is a known fact that wherever your treasure is there your heart will also be. Many Christians have a religious spirit and even a Jezebel spirit, but they cannot fool God.
Get ready to meet your Groom! How can you prepare? You can prove your commitment to God by getting your eyes check to see in the spiritual realm.
Ensure that you know where you are sharpening your weapons because many people do not know that they have witchcraft in their houses which they need to root out.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. (John 11:25)
The Resurrection and Life
During the months of March and April, we celebrate Jesus Christ – the resurrection and life. Thus, our Daily Devotion reminded you of the power of our resurrected Lord and Savior. You can have an abundant life when you hold fast to God and live.
Live wisely and listened to the voice of God. Spend time with God, reflect on His past goodness, honor and obey Him, teach, practice and meditate on Him and He will multiply your blessings, and it will be well with you and your children.
You can forget the past failures and count on Gods’ word. He will take you out and bring you in because you are a cut above the rest, so stay on top.
If you are still in the wilderness of trials, ensure that you know its purpose.
Take it one step at a time until you regain your position.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John 14:6)
Remember the wilderness is a pathway to a better life. It will teach you humility so that you will be raised to a higher level in God.
You can also learn to build your body as a holy tabernacle for God when you study the spiritual meaning of the physical tabernacle of Moses, its contents, and functions.
Jesus Christ is the sacrificial lamb of God who died for our sins, but there was also a scapegoat. The sacrifice of God is a sweet aroma, and you are welcome to partake of it.
Come to the Lord with your best offering and enter. Is it money? Learn about it on this blog.
Give freely to God, give love because love is better than sacrifice.

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? (1 Corinthians 6:19)
In the tabernacle of God, there is a revelation in the Lampstand and in the showbread. Come to the mercy seat of God and be sanctified.
The Lord will clothe you in the priestly garment with an ephod, the breastplate of faith and love to decorate you with the fruit of the spirit.
As born again Christians we need to know the significance of the oil and wine. Therefore, do not leave this blog until you do.
Patient Man Rides Donkey
Only a patient man can ride a donkey. So, be patient with me as I continue to relive some of the wonderful memories of the past year.
It was during the month of March that I strayed a little from my regular theme because I became caught up in the humor of the presidential race in the USA.
Although the race for president was long and tiring, most times amusing, I was inspired by one of the candidates because he demonstrated one of God’s plan for us when we get old, which is when we are old we don’t have to be cold.
Be fearless! Give the Lord your best work! Do not give the devil any leeway in your life, so be filled with the Holy Spirit.
We are living in the age of deception so be knowledgeable about the Word of God because Satan can deceive you with his miracles. You need to know the difference.

He performs great signs so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. (Revelation 13:13)
You also need to be careful who you allow to lay hands on you. You need to know what they are imparting to you.
Ladies, May is your month so get ready to receive your rewards because you deserve them.
I have compiled all of them in one short but spicy post that you can read here.
The Daily Thanksgiving Devotion shared with you a famous woman of the Bible who has impacted the world to this very day. You can’t afford to miss them.
Calling all the boys, young men and older men everywhere! It is your time! June is dedicated to you, and we need your input.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)
We are Still Searching for My Beloved, and we know he is lost somewhere inside of you. I began my search in 2014 when I wrote him a love song, and I am determined to continue until I find him.
So, come forth O man of God and let your light shine!
Peace Be Still
During the entire months of July and August, we prayed for our teens and young people. Every single day we began the day at 6 AM with a prayer. Do you know that it was during those months that I faced my greatest challenge with my teenage son?
He was silently suffering severe issues such as peer pressure, loneliness, anger, resentment and low self -esteem.

Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. (1 Timothy 4:12)
These were some of the problems that we prayed for each day. As a matter of fact, every day the Daily Thanksgiving Devotion focus on a different concern to take to God.
I am so grateful that I was obedient and followed God’s instructions to pray during those months because those prayers gave my family and I strength to endure the onslaught of the enemy.
We overcame by the blood of the Lamb, and now we are testifying to you that God answers prayer.
Yes, He does answer, over and over again.
It is back to school as usual for the children in the month of September.
However, the Daily Devotions and Articles during this month were not specific to the children but were mostly generalized because as I said before, I was going through a very low period in my life as a result of my son’s illness and the death of my husband.
I took comfort in some inspiring devotions and quotes from the internet which I shared in the devotion and mid-day inspiration. They reminded me that we are the apple of God’s eye so we cannot afford to give up.
I also learned that the flood water will never overtake me and God will redeem me from oppression and violence. You can view all the inspirational quotes by selecting it in the category on the blog.
The month of October begins with a hurricane that devastated a few islands in the Caribbean while others such as Jamaica missed it by the grace of God. The Lord was with those people during the storm, and I know they find peace in the midst of their trials.

But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. (Matthew 8:26)
In November, we encouraged you to get ready for your promotion, and we also prepared you to be part of the elect so that you will participate in the marriage feast when Christ returns.
Yesterday was January 2016 and today in the twinkling of an eye, is December. What can I say, it is a fulfillment of prophecy because Christ said that the days will be shortened for the elect sake.
We definitely have some elect living in this world, and that is the reason the days are shorter.
Because November was such a successful month we decided to continue the theme – signs of the time- in December.

“Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming, and of the end of the age?” (Matthew 24:3)
First, we showed you how to identify the true prophets of God and their functions because so many false prophets and impostors are on the social media, television, in the churches and even in the workplaces.
But, these false prophets have limitations, and they will be judged by the Almighty God. The Daily Thanksgiving Devotion declared the prophecies of the birth of Christ in keeping with the season.
The Gift Of Love Extends Throughout The New Year
God gave us a child – His Son – who became the Messiah because He saved us from our sins. This is the best gift for Christmas.
His name is Wonderful Counselor, Holy, peace, comforter, love, and mighty God.
We have reached the end of the 2016 year in review and now that I have looked back I realized that my trials were negligible compared to my triumphs. To God be the glory!
You are special!
My gifts for you in 2017 is that God will remove the reproach of your past and your latter days will be greater than your former and everywhere and in every place that your feet touch you will find peace.
Extra blessings for you!
I feel strongly that this year you will give birth to your destiny!
I know 100% that I will be giving birth this year. I have been carrying this load for a few years, and it is now full time that I give birth.
Trust me it will be big! As a matter of fact, let me borrow one of the famous Donald Trump phrases and said,
“We will win bigly!”
Do you want to know what I will win? Would you like to see what I will give birth to?
Follow this blog closely, and you will not be disappointed.
Thank you, and God bless you.
This is an awesome post Beverley. Thank you! I receive this with all my heart.
Blessings to you………
