Why is my Life so Complicated?

Being a teenager in this world is hard. Life can be complicated, and most times you feel as if no one understands you. So instead of speaking out your fears or problems you simply bury your emotions inside a book or the television. In my days, those were the two things I would do instead of facing my dilemma.

However, this young generation avoids the real issues facing them by texting to their friends, listening to music or playing video games. These actions will be detrimental to them in the future because they will not learn how to solve the real problems of life when they become adults.

How can parents help their teenagers face their growing pains and other social issues that bother them? It is hard, but the Lord understands, and He provides answers for us in the Bible. If the teens would only read the bible!

O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; you understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. You have hedged me behind and before, and laid your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain it. (Psalms 139:1-6)
