Loving God Means Loving your Brother

Is it possible to love someone that you cannot see? The answer depends on many things. But you will agree that it is easy to love someone whom you know personally. Therefore, loving God means you must first love yourself and your fellow humans.

If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also. (1 John 4: 20-21)

    • The question was also asked who is your neighbor? The Lord told the story of the Good Samaritan. He demonstrated how we can love our brothers and sisters. They also include strangers and foreigners. Thanks for you input. It is greatly appreciated.
