Still Searching For My Beloved

We are at the end of another month! Oh my, is time flying? The days seem to go so fast! We are definitely experiencing the prophetic words of Christ when He told us that the days will be shortened for the elect sake. These are the days!

By night on my bed I sought the one I love; I sought him, but I did not find him. 2 “I will rise now,” I said, “And go about the city; In the streets and in the squares I will seek the one I love.” I sought him, but I did not find him (Solomon 3:1-2)

By night on my bed, I sought the one I love; I sought him, but I did not find him. “I will rise now,” I said, “And go about the city; in the streets and in the squares I will seek the one I love.” I sought him, but I did not find him (Solomon 3:1-2).

Anyway, let’s get back to business. We have just concluded another month of June searching for ‘my Beloved.’  Did we find him? You tell me! Let us review the characteristics of my beloved and if you see him anywhere let me know.

According to Revelation 1:6, the glory and dominion belong to our Lord Jesus Christ who loved us and washed us from our sins and made us kings and priests to His God and Father.

Therefore, only Christ can anoint us to be kings and priests. A man can become a priest or a king, but women can only become priests. Both positions have the same level of anointing. None is higher than the other.

The priestly anointing incorporates sanctification and sacrifices while the kingly anointing involves declaring or proclaiming the word of the Lord. When the Lord has anointed you to one or both of these posts, you are able to function in all the spiritual gifts of the Bible.

In the home, the man must operate as the priest and king of his household so that he will lead is family into success and not failure. The Lord will bear you on eagles wings and guide and protect you.

You will not worship the Lord in vain when you allow Him to cover you with His Spirit. You are anointed to proclaim, but you have to become desperate for God and receive the priestly anointing after you have obtained the garment of salvation and is covered by the blood of Jesus Christ.

Most men do not know how to be a loving husband to their wives or a good father and role model to their kids because no one taught them how. Many of these men did not grow up with a father who could be an example to them.

Irrespective of their limitations the Lord promised to be a Father to the fatherless and recreate His likeness and glory in their lives. So the best time to serve the Lord is while you are young.

The Lord will repair the desolation in your past and future generations and make you a great leader who will lead with wisdom and authority.

God will teach you how to make your life a living sacrifice, to intercede for your family and to become a trumpet that proclaims the principles which you stand for.

A man who is a king and priest of his home will know how to love his wife and be a good parent to his children. He will Know when to sanctify himself and lead his family soberly. The priest will constantly be in the presence of the Lord so that he will be fearless and his feet will always bring good news.

A great Dad is an all-rounder who rocks his children world. He will keep his life pure so that he can become a messenger of God who will eventually see the face of God and be transformed.family-796911_640

Only then will he receive all the blessings of Abraham which include the best gift from God.

Do you value the word of a man? Not necessarily, but you can count on the word of the anointed king because he speaks righteously. So whatever a king spoke from his mouth will come to pass.

It is, therefore, evident that all men have a tremendous responsibility because they are the backbone of the family and leaders of the society. When they fail, we all fail. Thus we need to pray earnestly for them so that they will commit their lives in the hands of our Creator, who will guide and protect them.

Before leaving this page, please take a minute to reflect on your life and ask yourself: Am I doing the best job that God wants me to do? Are there areas in my life that can be improved?

Be honest with yourself and if you are doubtful take the time to read this post again along with the Bible verses, and then share with your friends and family. The Lord will honor your obedience and bless you.
