In our modern-day society, men have been demasculinized by the media and entertainment industry.
Why is this happening to our men?
Is it because women are taking over leadership positions in society?
Is it because of biological factors?
In 2007, an observational study was done on 1,532 randomly selected men in Boston, Massachusettes to check their testosterone level.
The study began in 1987 to 1999 with follow-ups from 1995 to 1997 and 2002 to 2004.
It was shown that there was a decline in the testosterone levels of these men.
The reasons for this decline are not certain.
But one writer suggests that it could be due to the increasing level of estrogen, herbicide, and pesticide in the food. He suggested measures to improve the hormone level in men.
The factors listed above may contribute to the demasculinization of men, but the Bible implies that the main reason is due to sin.
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
And likewise, also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (Romans 1:25-27)

How can a man ensure that he retained his masculinity?
By abiding by the Word of God!
The following are six additional measures that men can take to ensure that they will never lose their masculinity in this present society.
1. Make God the center of your life and never let go of His hand.
2. Sin lies at your door, but you must learn to rule over it an give no place to the devil.
3. Prophesy the Word of God over your life and family.
4. Never forget to talk to the Lord first thing every morning. Listen carefully to the Lord and let Him command you day.
5. Never underestimate the power of prayer. It is one of your best weapons to destroy the enemy.
6. Finally, remain close to God’s heart, always obey His Word, hold on to the things that He said about you while continuing to enjoy the richness of God’s blessings on your life.
