Prayer Of Protection

I have been blessed to have many faithful friends on my blog.

Candice is one such friend who always participated on my blog by sharing her thoughts and testimonies.

The following is one of her prayers that she posted in the comment section of the blog post: A Prayer of reassurance.

I encouraged you to visit Candice’s blog: Candice Felice Blogspot.

Heavenly Father,

Today I put on the full armor to guard my life against attack.

I put on the belt of truth to protect against lies and deception.

I put on the breastplate of righteousness to protect my heart from the temptations I battle.

I put the gospel of peace on my feet so I am ready to take Your light wherever You send me this day.

I choose to walk in the peace and freedom of Your Spirit and not be overcome with fear and anxious thoughts.

I take up your shield of faith that will extinguish all the darts and threats hurled my way by the enemy.

I put on the helmet of salvation, which covers my mind and thoughts, reminding me I am a child of the day, forgiven, set free, saved by the grace of Messiah Yeshua.

I take up the sword of the Spirit, Your very Word, the one offensive weapon given to me for battle, which has the power to demolish strongholds, alive, active, and sharper than any double-edged sword.

I ask for your help in remembering to put on Your full armor every day, for You give me all that I need to stand firm in this world.

Thank you that I never fight alone, for you are constantly at work on my behalf, shielding, protecting, strengthening, exposing the deeds of the darkness — bringing to light what needs to be known covering me from the attacks I face even when I am unaware.

In the powerful name of Yeshua our Messiah, Lord and King! Amen.🙏🏼. Written by Candice Felice.

AMEN!

  1. Thanks much Bev for sharing. It’s awesome and inspiring.

This scripture is for every occasion.

The shield of Faith…with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

This tells us outright that not only does our shield protect us from the arrows of our enemies, it puts them out!

We cannot go anywhere without these, else Satan will catch us unaware, find us defenseless, and overcome us.

If we stay in the Word, we are digging our heels deeper into the truth enabling us to withstand the attacks that fall upon us.
