Life More Abundantly!
We have come to the end of the month of September; and for sure it was an exceptional month because we featured our children and how special they are to us. We all love our children and we want the best for them. We began the month by welcoming the children back to school and we shared some valuable advice on how to incorporate your children in your family meetings to plan their daily activities at school and home.
Since the beginning of the school year can be a trying and challenging time for the children there is a powerful school prayer for you to pray over your children each morning before they go through the door.
We cannot over emphasize how bless we are to have children. Indeed they are a heritage from the Lord and so we need to value their presence in our lives because they each come with a message from the Lord to us. We need to ensure that we take excellent care of them and leave the best inheritance for them; one which is priceless and will last throughout each generation.
Now is the acceptable time for our children to have a relationship with God because they are at a tender age when their hearts are sincere and humble. Parents need to encourage this and they also need to ensure that they too have a relationship with God so that they can build a dream home for the entire family.
For the sake of your children, try to make the right decision in every circumstance. You can do this if you allow the Lord to lead and guide you in every step of the way. If you find yourself in an abusive relationship remember that God wants the best for you and your children so make the right choice. Note that your children’s protection is guaranteed when you take them to Jesus.
You will need supernatural strength from the Lord to help you to lead your family successfully, so prophesy and pray the word of God continually over your family.
Finally, disciplinary measures have been topical issues over the media lately. When do discipline ends and child abuse begins. It is a very thin line between both so we have taken you to the word of God to find the true meaning of the rod of correction that parents need to use to discipline their children.
The rod is symbolic and it represents God’s authority and power. It is very important that you familiarized yourself with this rod which you can read here. I guarantee it will give you knowledge, understanding, power and wisdom to raise your children successful.
A prophecy for you from the Lord
“I will create a new heaven and a new earth and all the former things will pass way. So rejoice in what I have created for I have created the New Jerusalem for rejoicing. I will rejoice in Jerusalem and in you my people. Weeping and crying will no longer be heard in that city.
“No infants or child will live but a few days but they will live for a hundred years and the old men will fulfill their days. The unrepentant will be punished even if he lives for a hundred year.
“You will not build and another inhabit for you shall inhabit your own houses. You shall plant vineyards and eat the fruits that they produced.
“For as long and flourishing are the days of the trees so shall be the days of my people. My elect will enjoy the work of their hands and you will not labor in vain. You will not give birth to troublesome children but they will be the descendants of the blessed of the Lord; and their offspring also.
“It shall come to pass that before you call, I will answer; and while you are still speaking I will hear. The wolf and the lamb will feed together and the lion will eat straw like an Ox. The dust will be the serpent’s (enemy’s) food. You will not be hurt or be destroyed in my Holy Mountain,” says the Lord (Isaiah 65:17-25).
The new heaven and earth and the New Jerusalem in this prophesy literally refer to the end of time when Christ returns for his bride (church) and creates a new home her. The spiritual implication of this prophecy is that you can enjoy these benefits right now when you invite Christ to dwell in your heart. Jesus Christ came to give abundant life and to make all things new.
The following verses are your confirmation:
Therefore if anyone who is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new. (2Corinthians 5:17)
Then he who sat upon the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And he said to me, “Write for these words are faithful and true.” (Revelation 21:5)
The thief does not come except to kill, steal and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)
