2024 – A Year Of Praise And Thanksgiving To God

The Lord placed the above title in my spirit while I was replying to a comment on my blog post.

This year is indeed a time to lift up the name of the Lord and testify of the wonderful things that He has done in your life.

Surely, many of us have experienced some turbulent times during 2023 but I am sure you can testify that the Lord was with you in the midst of the trials.

We do not know what lies ahead in 2024 but the Lord knows and He will lead you on the right path to navigate the ups and downs.

He will not take you through a shortcut where you might be deceived by the enemy, but He will take you through the long way where you will spend quality time in His loving presence.

Unfortunately, for the past year, I have not been up to date with my monthly blog reviews. However, I will take this time to give you a brief review of this blog during the year 2023.

2023 posts review

We began the year by sharing with you twenty-two simple habits to improve your life. These habits are timeless and will definitely build your relationship with God.

We also share with you some key strategies on how to remove the clutter from your mind and how to accept the grace and mercy of God without feeling guilty of your past life.

February is a month where Black History is celebrated. So I shared with you a synopsis of the redemption song of the black race.

The struggle for self identity is ongoing. But, as Michael Jackson’s song states, “the change begins with the man in the mirror.”

No on in this world can deceive you or make you think less of yourself when you know the truth about yourself.

You will receive your breakthrough when you pursue, overtake and recover all from the enemy.

We experience God’s miracle everyday by just being alive on planet earth, which is circling the sun at 67,000 mph while spinning on it own axis about 1,000 miles per hour and you do not feel a thing nor do you get dizzy.

Isn’t that a miracle?

Have you ever wonder Why Christians suffer?

When you have an encounter with God you will never be the same again.

But there will be pain and suffering because we are living in a sinful world.

There will be times when you feel as if you are caught between the devil and the deep blue sea and you desperately need a Moses’ rod to part the red sea.

Never fear, the Lord will part the Red Sea. Do you still believe in miracles? Let us know in the comment below.

The God who raised Christ from the dead will do it for you also.

During the month of May we celebrate mothers and we elaborate on the strength and power of women.

But, we also acknowledge that the fathers have the power of the Lord to slay the giants.

Do you know that one of the reasons why you were created is to be a praise and glory to God?

Here are six more reasons why you are created.

When you digest all the wonderful reasons why the Lord created you and acknowledge how special you are, then you will have a song in your heart to always praise the Lord.

Therefore, I encourage you to keep climbing.

Keep walking!

The right hand of God will uphold you and He will fight your battle.

We are all broken but God has given us promises from before the foundation of the world that cannot be broken.

So let us pause and give God thanks and enjoy life like a pineapple.

We must take a break at least once per year to leave the cares of this world behind and spend some quality time with God to meditate on His goodness while enjoying His blessings.

Because we are breathing we need to count all the reasons why we are alive and give the Lord praise.

Never judge the Lord before you taste Him. The Psalmist says, “Oh taste and see that that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!” (Psalms 34:8)

Some of the benefits of tasting the Lord is that He will lead you into great success and deliver you from the spirit of infirmity and the plots of the enemy.

Even during times of exceeding sorrow the Lord will give you strength.

Don’t’ give up!

Continue to pray for the Church and pray for the nations.

The Jonah generation defines a group of Christians who received mercy and forgiveness from God but refused to show mercy and forgiveness to others.

I pray that they will repent and strive to become part of the Joshua generation.

The Bible encourages us to remember our Creator while we are young before the difficult days arise.

Indeed, we are living in troublesome times but it will be even more difficult when you are advanced in age.

However, you will excel in troublesome times because God will open windows and doors in heaven and poor out supernatural blessings upon your life.

As you grow older and the children depart from the nest, you might feel a sense of loneliness but be reminded that loneliness is an illusion.

Continue to guard your heart against pride and other destructive habits.

Read the Word of God daily and prophecy it over your life and family.

When you make thanksgiving your daily medicine you will live a happy and peaceful life on this earth and an even more abundant life in heaven.

Let 2024 be the year when you cease from complaining, ignore the pity party and rejoice in thanksgiving and praise.

Thank you, Lord!

  1. A wonderful fly-over Beverly. I too pray for a “Joshua generation” in the days ahead. We had a good 2023 in our house, at least as good as one could expect in this tough world. May our 2024 see good fruit from good seeds planted afore-time.

  3. Thanks Beverley! “time to lift up the name of the Lord and testify of the wonderful things that He has done.” Amen! Thanks for this encouragement to keep sharing the good things God has done. I heard a testimony from a cancer survivor yesterday and it was uplifting to hear of God’s healing power. The doctor told her it was like she had never had cancer at all! We hear a lot of bad news. Hearing that God is at work, encourages our faith. Blessings my friend!
