Reflecting on the month of June
Starting your first blog can be a daunting process, but when you break through the barriers of self-doubt and procrastination and begin, you will find that it is a rewarding experience.

Over the past six years of blogging, I have learned to persevere and never give up on what I have started because there is always hope for a new revelation when you study the Word of God.
Indeed, the Word of God is the living bread that we need to daily sustain us and allow us to live forever.
I am grateful to God for giving me the ability to rise up to the mandate that He has called me to do.
Yes, I will bless the Lord at all times and His praises shall continually be in my mouth (Psalms 34:1).
Is there anything that I can give to my God for all His faithfulness and mercy?
I do not have an expensive Alabaster box of sweet perfume to pour on the feet of my God, but I can give Him my most valuable asset – my life!

The viewers spanned across 115 countries in the world. I have selected six of these countries to tell you a little about them.
Bhutan
The kingdom of Bhutan is a landlocked country in South Asia. It is located in the Eastern Himalayas. It is bordered by Tibet in the north and the Assam-Bengal Plain of India to the south.
The people consist of three major groups. They are the Bhutia (Ngalop), the Nepalese, and the Sharchop.
The Ngalop is the largest ethnic group and consists of about half of the population. They are the descendants of Tibetan immigrants who came southward into Bhutan beginning about the 9th century. Read more about Bhutan at Britannica.com.
Montenegro
Montenegro is located in the west-central Balkan peninsula at the southern end of the Dinaric Alps.
Its boundaries are the Adriatic Sea and Croatia in the southwest. Bosnia and Herzegovina are towards the northwest, Serbia is northeast, Kosovo is to the east, and Albania is to the southeast.
There is a continuing controversy between the Serbs and the Montenegrins. In the early 21st century almost half of the population was identified as Montenegrin and about one-fourth as Serb. Read more here.
Suriname
Suriname was once a Dutch colony but gained independence in 1975. It is located in South America bordering Guyana, French Guinea, and Brazil.
The people are ethnically diverse descending from African slaves, Indian and Javanese indentured laborers brought over by the Dutch to work in agriculture.
The standard of living in Suriname is relatively high. The major source of income is mining – oil and gold. Read more about Suriname here.
Faroe Islands
The Faroe Islands consist of eighteen small islands located in the Northeast Atlantic ocean between Europe and North America. The population is approximately 50,000.
The language of the people is from Old Norse, which is the language of the Norsemen who once settled on the island 1200 years ago.
The islands are presently highly industrialized and the people enjoy a high standard of living. Read more about the Faroe Islands
Jersey
Jersey is a British Crown dependency located near the coast of Normandy, France. It is the largest of the Channel Islands.
The population is mainly of Norman descent with an admixture of Breton. The economy is mostly based on international financial services, agriculture, and tourism.
The country breeds and exports the Jersey dairy cattle, which is indigenous to the island since 1789. Read more about Jersey here.
Macau SAR China
Similar to Hong Kong, Macau is a special administrative region (SAR) of greater China that operates under the “One Country, Two Systems” principle.
SAR is an area that falls under the overall support of one country but has maintained a separate political and economic system.
Macau was once owned by Portugal for 100 years. In 1987, Portugal signed an agreement with China for China to have formal sovereignty of the region.
The country has approximately 700,000 residents. It is one of the wealthiest regions in the area due to its free-market economy and low taxation.
Its main economical source is tourism, gaming, and the financial sector. Read more about Macau here.
