  2. A helpful and encouraging post. And the most important thing I take away from this is “there is no storm that God cannot take you through.” Amen.

    1. Amen. That is is our first assurance of hope. The Lord has been through it all so He understands our infirmities.

  3. I live in Texas where I’ve literally been in a middle of a storm. In fact, I had to relocate due to damages sustain to my home caused by a storm. In a storm where the winds are howling can be frightening and in some cases deadly.

When the storms of life are raging against us we need to learn how to be at peace. I can personally testify that tossing and turning worrying about what may or not happen is never beneficial. In fact, as I write this comment I am in the middle of a storm. I don’t know what will happen tomorrow but I can be prayed up today. One thing I’ve learned is God is not moved by my circumstances. As Believers if we are doing what God called us to, fulfilling His purpose for our lives…being obedient to His Word…stuff is going to happen. The work of the enemy is to get us to recant our confession and walk away from God. Right now what I’m focusing on is not to panic and not allow my circumstance to dictate my state of mind or my destiny. If God said I’m going over and not under then I’m going over and not under no matter what my circumstance look like.

    1. My prayers are with you, my sister, that God will strengthen and keep you in the midst of this storm that you are going through. The fact that you are able to write such encouraging words prove that God is with you and He will definitely carry through this storm.
I have also been through some terrible physical and spiritual storms, but God! We will be praying for you because we are confident that God will take you through. Be blessed.

  7. β€œIn the midst of your storms, the devil will constantly remind you of your nakedness.” So good sis!

Nakedness causes shame. The devil does this to make us feel ashamed. So instead of fighting him, we focus on ways to cover our shame. It is an act of distraction

  8. I like that verse in Proverbs 16:7, β€œWhen your ways please the Lord even your enemies will be at peace with you.” When people act foolish and we choose to respond in a godly way it brings peace.
