Coping With Uncertainties

Have you ever been in a situation where things are not working out within your favor and you are not sure whether you should continue or give up?

Have you ever felt helpless and uncertain about the future?

I have!

How do you cope?

First, remind yourself of the promises that God has given you.

If God said it, He will make it come to pass.

Secondly, remember the good things that God had done for you in the past.

Think about the storms that He brought you through.

Think about the countless times He provided for your needs at the right time.

Thirdly, reassure yourself with the Word of God.

My God shall supply all my needs according to His riches in glory.

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Says the Lord.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Furthermore,

We are living in the days where the just shall live by faith.

So if you find yourself living one day at a time trusting only in the provision of God then you are one of the just or the elect.

The Christian life is a faith-filled journey from beginning to the end.

It is by faith that you are saved not of works or yourselves. It is the gift of God.

It is by faith that you know that Christ dwells in your heart.

It is by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ that you have access to the grace of God and you can have peace in Him.

By faith God will clothe, shelter and feed you.

Your faith will make you whole!

The prayer of faith will save the sick and the Lord shall raise him up and his sins forgiven. Amen!

Your faith will remove every obstacle in your pathway.

The shield of faith will quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Faith will keep you steadfast and grounded in God.

Additionally,

God is faithful to all generations. The Lord’s faithfulness and mercy will always be with you.

As a matter of fact, the Lord is faithful to renew His mercies every morning.

He will not take His lovingkindness from you and He will never cease to be faithful to you.

Faithful is He who called you, who will also do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:24)

But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you, and keep you from evil. (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

You can, therefore, have faith in the faithfulness of God.

Thank God our faith do not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

If for any reason you think that you do not have faith or you believe that your faith needs to be strengthened, I have one last remedy for you.

Love a little more!

Everyone has the capacity to love.

When you love deeper and wider your faith will grow and you will have hope because love is greater than faith and hope.

Reward for your faith

Because of your steadfast faith, at the end of your life you will be able to rejoice like Paul and say,

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course,  I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

You will be among the saints in glory on that great day when the Lord Jesus Christ returns.

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. (Revelation14:12)

Hallelujah! Amen!

  1. What a blessing it is that we can trust Him in all things, isn’t it? I know as God lead us through the trial of homelessness it was hard at times to see His great love. As each day passed, however, we saw more of His love and provision as we took greater and greater steps of faith. When you have no food, shelter or warmth you certainly learn very quickly that faith in God is absolutely critical. We are so grateful for His love and provision to guide through that time. What greater reward is there than Jesus? Let us all step out and give up everything to follow Him.

    Thank you for this post.

    Blessings,

    • Hi Homer. Thank you for visiting this blog and sharing your testimony. Homelessness is difficult. It is hard to imagine what it is like unless you have gone through it yourself. Thank God that you continue to hold on to Him until He comes through for you. I am sure the process have made you stronger. Have a blessed day.
