Sound The Alarm
Blow the trumpet and sound the alarm at the first sign of the enemy’s attack.
Our God will fight for us!
And I said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, The work is great and large, and we are separated upon the wall, one far from another. In what place, therefore, ye hear the sound of the trumpet, resort ye thither unto us: our God shall fight for us. (Nehemiah 4:19-20)
The Lord wants to appoint a caretaker in every community, city, and country to make sure that His Church is in order.
He wants men and women who are committed, humble, and dedicated.
He wants people who are willing to lead selflessly and are committed entirely to Him.
There is a millennial harvest waiting for full-time laborers to bring them into the Kingdom of God.
Before you can accomplish this essential task, you will need to prepare your bodies as the dwelling place of God.
As you build, you will need to encourage yourself in the Lord by prophesying over your life.
The prophecies of the prophets Haggai and Zechariah will strengthen you as you grow and develop in the Lord.
It is also important that you become your brother’s keeper, and encourage and support each other.
You must blow the trumpet for our brothers. You need to sound the alarm at the first sign of the enemy’s plot.
You cannot afford to sit idly by while watching your brethren perish in the wilderness.
You can help! There is always something that you can do.
A simple touch, a hug, a spoken word from the heart will lift a challenging problem.
It will also illuminate a path and send a glimmer of hope to a heart in despair.
Do not hold back in fear. Reach out!
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. (Proverbs 3:27).
Arise and fight for your brethren, sons, and daughters.
Fight for your wives and husbands, and the Lord God of heaven will be with you. (Excerpt from Harm not The Oil and Wine)

So good sis! I intend to go deeper next year in studying Old Testament prophets. This is a good reminder. “Be your brother’s keeper”

We do need to make sure we are going the extra mile and reaching out to people. It can make a big difference in someone’s day or even their life!

Yes it can. Do you notice that even in today’s society where everything is just a click away, many people find it hard to write an encouraging note to someone? The devil is a liar! We have to continue to pray.

Prayers are definitely needed! Usually on social media people are more concerned with showing off their accomplishments or exalting themselves than encouraging others it’s a competition. 😔

Unfortunately, it is a competition among the believers and I failed to understand why. God has given each of us a unique gift to edify the body of Christ so there should not be any need for jealousy. Thanks, Dawn for this great conversation.
