December – The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year Tag
I was tagged by Matt of Jesusluvsall blog for the December Tag in celebration of the Christmas season.
Thank you Matt. I pray that this season will bring you joy, peace and happiness.
The Meaning of this Tag:
“Love the giver more than the gift.” – Brigham Young
It’s December! This our last monthly tag of the year, Purple Rose and Dollfaced Writer hope you enjoy participating as we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year! December is most likely our favorite time of the year and we hate how fast it goes by, so we try our best to enjoy the moment and soak in the joy of the season. We hope you do as well! ”

6. Tag at least TWO people.
7. Have fun and enjoy the rest of your month!
Here are the questions:
1. If you could be a character in a holiday movie, who would you be?
Cannot think of any right now.
2. What kind of holiday shopper are you: Black Friday? Christmas Eve? Yearlong hoarder?
I no longer participate in the excitement and rush to shop at those times of the year because they encourage excessive spending and wasting. I shop when I need something.
3. What colors are your favorite holiday decorations?
I do not decorate my house for Christmas. However, I like the Poinsettia flower which blooms in December
4. Would you rather build a snowman, go sledding, have a snowball fight, or stay inside drinking hot cocoa?
If I live in a cold weather country I would prefer to stay inside and driink a cup of hot chocolate.
I live in the caribbean where it is sunny all year, so in December we still enjoy the beach and the other outdoor activities.
Do you know that Jamaica has a Bobsled team? Yes, and they first participated in the 1988 Winter Olympic and subsequently other olympics.
It was both funny and cool becasue no on was expecting a hot climate caribbean country to participate in winter Olympics.
5. If you were Santa Claus, what type of cookie would you want to be left out for you on Christmas Eve?
No cookie for Santa Claus. He is already overweight. 🙂
6. If someone offered you a gift card to any store you wanted, which one would you choose?
I prefer a gift card to an event such as a dinner or a cruise.
7. Name three words that best describe Christmas for you.
Love, unity, share
I nominate the following persons.
There is no obligation to participate. You are free to decide.
Sally – Theology of a Newfoundland Housewife
My questions to the nominees remain the same.
1. If you could be a character in a holiday movie, who would you be?
2. What kind of holiday shopper are you: Black Friday? Christmas Eve? Yearlong hoarder?
3. What colors are your favorite holiday decorations?

Congratulations Beverley! Poinsettias are beautiful flowers. My mom likes them too. We all need to be careful not to get caught in excessive spending at Christmas.

So true Dawn. Everyone seems to be in a mad rush at this time of the year. We have to pray for safety on the road. Yes, those flowers are great. I prefer them to all the man made tinsels. Thank you for reading and commenting.

Too fun! I used to watch the movie: Cool Runnings when I was little. It’s all about the Olympic Bobsled teams ❤️. Merry Christmas, Beverley!

You should visit Nebraska in January to experience snow 🙂

Mr. Matthew, I know you like me so much that you want me to visit the coldest part of the USA at the coldest time of the year. Yes sir, that is a true example of love. 🤔 But, I think I will pass. When I want to experience snow, I simply open my freezer door.❄🌬 Have a great day.

I’m with you for your answer for #1. It’s all in the name of commercialism.

Oh yes it is. Every Christmas time, I said that I wish I had a shop. People seem to buy anything at this time of the year. Only the merchants benefit at this time of the year. Their profit last them for the entire new year. 🙂. Thanks for sharing.
