Three Things That The Universe Tells Us About God
Scientists claimed that the universe was created from a big bang that happened millions of years ago.
From this chaotic explosion, a perfect earth developed over time. A earth which sits exactly at the ideal position in space with the perfect temperature and atmosphere suitable for life.
According to NASA Science, the earth has a radius of 3,959 miles and is an average distance of 93 million miles from the sun.
The earth makes one rotation on its axis every 23.9 hours and takes 365.25 days to complete one trip around the sun.
The earth is tilted on its axis 23.4 degrees and this tilt creates our yearly cycle of seasons.
The earth is the only planet in the solar system that has only one moon. Jupiter has a whopping 67 moons while Saturn has 62.
Consider the following questions.
Have you ever wondered why the earth has only one moon? What is the purpose of the moon?
According to NASA, the moon stabilize the earth’s wobble. Perhaps more than one moon would disrupt the wobble and create an imbalance in the season.
Do you think this happens by chance or did someone carefully orchestrated that?
Do you believe that our moon was formed by chunks of asteroids which randomly clumped together to form only one single moon that the earth needed?
With so many floating asteroids, obviously, other moons should have formed over millions of years ago.
Do you believe such specificity happened by chance or was it divinely plan?
Do you know the reason why the earth is the only planet in the solar system that was not named after Greek or Roman gods?
I think I have the answer for this one!
Because it was named by God.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. (Genesis 1:1)
And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good. (Genesis 1:10)
Earth is a transliteration from the Hebrew word eherets meaning to be firm or inhabited land. (Strong Dictionary)
The Bible did not record that God named the other planets so man gave them names according to the gods they worship.
It is interesting to note that even though scientists are trying their best to leave God out of His created work they are using the name earth which God named and created.
As you read deeper into the mystery of the universe you become more and more doubtful of the scientists’ hypothesis about creation.
I am reminded of the fairy tale, “The Emperor New Clothes.”
The peope believed the swindlers and saw the splendid imaginary clothes of the Emperor through the eyes of pride.
It took the humble eyes of a child to reveal that the Emperor was naked.
It will take humility and the other characteristics of a child for most scientists and atheists to believe that there is a God.
Therefore, let us look through the eyes of humility and see three things that the heavens declare about God – the Creator of the universe including you and me.
1. The glory of God
The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows His handiwork. (Psalms 19:1)
O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the earth, who have set Your glory above the heavens! (Psalms 8:1)
The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all its fullness, You have founded them. The north and the south, You have created them; Tabor and Hermon rejoice in Your name. (Psalms 89:11-12)
2. The perfect workmanship of God
When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? For You have made him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. (Psalms 8:3-5)
For the word of the Lord is right, and all His work is done in truth. He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. By the word of the Lord, the heavens were made, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap; He lays up the deep in storehouses. (Psalms 33:4-7)
3. The righteousness of God
When there is sin on the land the Lord will judge the earth by earthquake, fire and other natural disasters. The heavens will declare the righteousness of God so that everyone will see His glory.
Let the heavens declare His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge. Selah (Psalms 50:6)
“And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord. (Joel 2:30-31)
Read the entire Psalms 97
Only a fool who is filled with pride will see all the perfect glory of the universe and still say there is no God.
Indeed, the Bible says the fool said in his heart that there is no God (Psalms 14:1).
Thank God, you and I are not fools! We are the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus our Lord.
If you agree let me hear you say, AMEN.

We appreciate your participation. Thank you and God bless you.
Beautiful 😊 Everything is just too perfect to be random!
I’m currently reading “It Couldn’t Just Happen: Knowing the Truth About God’s Awesome Creation” by Lawrence O. Richards and I would definitely recommend it. It goes into detail about many of the aspects of the universe you just mentioned.
Take care and God bless,
Yari

Amen! Also, “For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.”

The word ‘created’ in Genesis 1:1 is the Hebraic bara. It is what the Greek calls ex nihilo and it means ‘created out of nothing.’ Only the Almighty Jehovah can achieve this feat. The ‘made’ in verse 6 is asah, meaning ‘to create out of existing material.’
Now, even if the gainsayers obstinately maintain the big bang yarn, no problem. The voice of the Most High is a ROAR! Ten times the LORD God commanded, “Let there be…” and even the exanimate elements complied with “AMEN!” Hallelujah!!

Amen. Glory to God. The voice of the Lord thunders above the waters. The voice of the Lord splinters the wood of Lebanon. The voice of the Lord divides the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord makes the deer give birth. Powerful and full of majesty is the voice of the Lord. Thank you for sharing.
