Victory In The Lord Jesus Christ

Are you feeling intimidated by Satan’s servants?

(I don’t like to call people haters. I prefer to call them “Satan’s servants” instead)

These servants of the devil make themselves available to Satan to do the work that he is afraid of doing.

Yes, Satan is fearful of God and His people.

You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! (James 2:19)

The legions of unclean spirits within the man at Gadarenes bowed down and worshipped Jesus.

They fearfully pleaded with Him not to trouble them before their time (Mark 5).

Three things to note about this story. First, the demons recognized the presence of Christ.

Secondly, they were terrified of Him and thirdly, they knew their impending demise.

When Jesus Christ lives in your heart demons will react to you in a similar manner. So, why are you afraid of them?

Neither should you be terrified of people who allow Satan and his demons to use them.

While they are plotting and scheming against you, the Lord is laughing at them.

You should laugh at them also.

The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming. (Psalms 37:12-13)

Thank you Lord for protecting us!

  1. More additional reading- Ephesians 6:10+ – our battle isn’t against flesh and blood but against the devil and his forces. Also, we’re to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us. Thanks for the post 🙂
