Is Christ Here Yet?

Mom, are we there yet? When will we get there?

These are the redundant questions of an impatient child who is becoming tired during a long journey.

As Christians, we often become impatient and ask ourselves, when will Christ return?

Why isn’t Christ here as yet? Is He still coming? We are so tired of this world!

These questions have been asked for centuries.

But, we are still waiting!

When Jesus was on earth, He told the disciples that He would return to earth after He had prepared a place in heaven for us (John 14:1-6).

In the Book of Revelation, Christ also told John that He would return quickly (Revelation 22:20).

Those promises were made thousands of years ago and still, Jesus has not returned.

When will that day arrive?

Are you tired of waiting?

The world has become so wicked and vile that you wish Jesus would make a sudden appearance to make everything good.

But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 4: 13-14)
But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 4: 13-14 NKJV)

But Jesus wants us to be patient while watching and praying.

What will happen before Christ returns?

Will the Christians disappear suddenly?

Will there be a tribulation period or are we in the tribulation?

Who or what is the antichrist and is he already in the world?

Who will face the judgment of God?

Who is the man of sin?

Who or what is the beast?

Have we received the mark (666) and do not know it?

These questions have bombarded the minds of many people over the years.

Many theologians have studied the Book of Revelation, and many interpretations of the prophecies have been given, but somehow the book remains a mystery.

The second coming of Christ seems far away, and many Christians are like foolish virgins and are not prepared.

All ten virgins were asleep because the bridegroom took a long time to come, but only five were prepared.

As the Church waits for Christ’s return, you will become weary and fall asleep but make sure that your lamps are trimmed and you have enough oil.

The Book of Revelation has remained a mystery because the Lord has not revealed all its secrets to the world as yet.

The book was closed to Daniel but opened for John who wrote down the prophecies in parables so that they will remain hidden from all of us until God is ready to reveal them.

At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. (Matthew 11:25)
At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. (Matthew 11:25 NKJV)

We are in the dispensation where God is now revealing the prophecies of the Book of Revelation.

The Lord wants to gather in the harvests from all the generations before He returns.

God will reveal His Word to anyone who avails themselves in His secret place (Psalms 91).

You do not have to be an ordained prophet to hear from God.

Several years ago I went through some turbulent times in my life.

To overcome my trials I sought earnestly for a close encounter with God.

This could only be achieved by studying the Word of God. I did so without any outside influence except the leading of the Holy Spirit.

The Lord taught me how to apply His Word to my life to overcome the enemy’s attacks.

The greatest lessons I learned were from the book of Revelation.

I used to read this book with fear and trepidation but when God opened the scriptures to me, I received the book with love and acceptance.

I loved and accepted it because I developed a closeness to God. After all, the book is not designed to produce fear but freedom.

I have shared this profound experience in a book that I published in 2017.

Since then, I have re-edited it on numerous occasions. My daughter has also redesigned a new cover for the book.

This book is not for everyone because many people prefer to accept the teachings of the Book of Revelation only from qualified theologians.

I am not a qualified Bible Scholar. But, bear in mind that God qualifies the person He calls.

Therefore, the book targets those who yearn for an alternative view from the mainstream interpretation of the Book of Revelation.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV)
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15 KJV)

During my studies, I received a new insight into life.

I found peace and contentment in the Lord but most of all I found the joy that the devil had stolen and I rekindled my first love.

It was an amazing journey!

Thank you, Lord

Yes, the devil will attack, but God has prepared a shelter for you in His secret place.

This secret place is found in the phrase of the rider on the black horse when he said to the enemy, “Do not harm the oil and the Wine” (Revelation 6:6 NKJV)

The book is available on Amazon. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

  1. Beverley, so often we want to escape this world and we forget God our Creator, placed us here for such a time as this. A time to be a light and show those sitting in darkness, Jesus our Redeemer and King, who shows us our loving Father. Holy Spirit leads and guides us, even in studying Revelation. You are qualified because you opened the Book and had Holy Spirit open up truth to you. Blessings!

  2. Now I am thinking about the Cece Winans song Come Jesus Come. But then I also remember what Peter wrote saying the Lord is not slow about his promised return but is patient wanting more to come to know him
