The world has embarked upon a crucial milestone and it is evident to everyone that various events are happening all over the world that strongly indicates that the coming of Christ is near.

Therefore this blog will be dedicating the entire month of November to focus on all the signs that are happening worldwide that suggests that the end is near.

The Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 24 predicted the events that will take place as we get closer to the end of time. At the onset of the tribulations there will be:

• An upsurge of deceivers claiming to be Christ.
• There will be rumors of war where nations will rise against nations and kingdom against kingdom.
• Famines.
• Pestilences.
• Earthquakes in various places.

Rumors of war

As time goes on the trials will get worst:

• Christians will be martyred for Christ’s sake.
• Christians will be hated by all nations for Christ’s name.
• Many will be easily offended.
• They will hate and betray each other
• There will be an upsurge of false prophets who will deceive many people.
• There will be an increase in lawlessness.
• The love of many people will wax cold. This means people will become complacent and indifferent.

Most of you will agree with me that we are already seeing the manifestation of all the above. These are tough times we are living in but he who endures to the end will be saved. The race is not for the swift but those who endured to the end.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the entire world as a witness to all the nations and then the end will come (Matthew 24:14).

The above verse implies that during the trials and tribulations the gospel will be preached to all the nations and many people will be saved.

What the enemy meant for bad God will turned it around for our good. Presently the enemy is releasing some terrible pestilences and plagues on the nations. This is not the time to cower in fear instead we need to be united and take a stand against the forces of evil. This is an opportunity for us to preach the gospel to the nations because more people will be seeking God for a solution.

Now is the time for every Christians to obey Christ’s mandate on their life and spread the gospel through every avenue that exist, for example through the social media on the internet, evangelism and missionary work.

The African nations in particular West Africa, who is going through this crisis is ripe for a revival. The enemy is seeking to destroy them but God will turn their evil plot into good. The good that God will do for them is to save every single people in West Africa and bring healing to their nation.

This is a tremendous challenge to all Christians who are called by God into evangelism to use this opportunity to bombard the African nations with the word of God.

A call for Prayer and Fasting

I personally decided that I will dedicate every Thursday of this month to fast and pray for the healing of those who are stricken with the Ebola virus; for the salvation of all West Africans; strength to the medical workers; wisdom to the scientist who are searching for a cure.

Pray for unity in the body of Christ and strength for each other. Note that there are two types of fasting – an abstinence of food and abstinence from personal desires to help the poor and needy (Isaiah 58).

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8: 28)

And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins he will be forgiven. Confess your trespasses one to another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. (James 5:15-16).

Now I plead to you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no division among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. (1 Corinthians 1:10)
