  3. I certainly have been in the shoes of your friend. I have fallen into a many cycles of negative thoughts within my life and I personally was not living in faith when I allowed for it to endure without seeking God diligently. Psalm 77 was a passage that I found a lot of comfort in during hard times. I also feel like Lamentations 3:21-25 has helped me well (The whole Bible has helped me but these scriptures came to mind). Sometimes when we fall in despair and are struggling through different trials, our faith is tested but it is important to remember Who God is and His Word. Each day we are given is another opportunity to seek Him and His mercies. It is important to remember the many ways he has worked in our lives and hold onto faith despite the storms.

  4. I absolutely loved this article as you are reminding people our arch enemy satan is always on the side lines just waiting to get his foot in the door of our life! Murmuring has been around for a very long time as we see it when God was more than kind to the Israelites in the wilderness and it wasn’t enough for all the bondage He saved them from and then He provided manna and quails yet the people still complained! (Exodus 16).

“Do all things without murmurings and disputings: 15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world”.(Philippians 2:14,15). God Bless your ministry Beverley!

    1. Thank you, Julia for your encouraging words. Indeed, Satan is always waiting on the sidelines for us to murmur and complain and then he escalate the problems. We certainly need to always remember the blessings of God and wait for His deliverance. Have a blessed day.

  5. This is a great reminder to make sure our thoughts and words are pleasing to the Lord. I know the Lord has been teaching me to believe Him for good things. Your testimony about the car reminded me of that. I pray the Lord guides you to the vehicle He wants you to have. Many times I have worried about things, even finances, and then I found out later it was a waste of time because God had already worked it out. Thanks Beverley. ❤️

  6. “Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice inasmuch as you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.”

  7. It was at a time in my life when God seemed so distance and quiet that my faith grew the strongest roots. Even though at that time I couldn’t feel any connection with God I kept going to him in prayer and in praise. I know now that he was there! His promise stands firm “Never will I leave you; Never will I forsake you.” Thank you for this post. The enemy is definitely on the prowl so we must fight back with the word of God. Praise the Lord Almighty loudly!

    1. Well said, my friend. We need to fight back with the Word of God. It is our most valuable weapon. Jesus used it in the wilderness to defeat the enemy and so we ought to do likewise. Have a blessed week in the Lord.
