  1. Very well said Beverley. We have to be so conscious that we don’t innocently make idols out of something when it is faith in Jesus Christ. If God answers someone’s prayer and that person was praying and holding a cross they had on a chain around their neck without understanding and proper relationship with Christ they can start to believe the answer come from that cross. We don’t need a cross in out hand to pray, God answers prayer even in odd places. You may be driving down the street and talking with God, working out in the gym or just walking or even in the store shopping. He is Omnipresent.

    1. We can serve the Lord anywhere and at any time. That is the beauty of serving the Lord today. Jesus told the woman at the well that in our dispensation the true worshippers will worship the Lord in spirit and in truth. Thank you for reading and sharing. Have a blessed weekend.

    1. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the matter. They are both significant symbolism, but some people like to cherish symbols. Have a blessed weekend.

    1. Thank you for sharing. Thank God for the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ who is now our high priest in heaven. He is no longer on the cross to remind us of our sins.

  5. Yes we should not make an idol out of anything. It’s all about Christ. It’s about what He did for us on the cross, but not the cross itself. ✝️
