  2. Very true. I was a person who wanted it NOW. But God has quelled that spirit and I am learning to wait on His time,:)

    1. Yes. God sometimes wants us to wait to develop our patience. Have a great day.

  3. Thanks much Bev for this gentle reminder. Waiting reminds me that I am not in charge I am the patient. I’m in the waiting room. In the real issues of life, I am not just waiting around – I am waiting on God, therefore, I can trust his wisdom and his timing. I’ve heard it said that the person who waits on God loses no time. I can wait with confidence. Because I am waiting for someone, and that someone is God – the faithful and reliable one.

Why do we equate waiting with doing nothing? Being still is so important to hearing God, to not get ahead of what he is doing. Thanks for this reminder.

    1. Yes. When we tell someone to wait for us we often mean stop what you are doing and wait. But, with God, waiting means continuing with me and not without without me.
