Imagine the revival if we prayed like Daniel. Faithful, fearless, and consistent. The Church would see unity, power, and divine breakthrough.

  2. Daniel was physically a captive in Babylon but he had a close relationship with God. He prayed and heard the voice of God who gave him visions, dreams, and interpretation and the dream that the king had. One of my favorite verses is Daniel 11:32 NIV “And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God].” Intimacy with God, makes provision to stand firm in this relationship and do exploits for God. Intimacy and praying, listening, and knowing the Word, living it, is a firm foundation that hardship will not change.

  3. Thanks again, Beverly. Now I am asking myself, “What if I prayer three times a day?” The answer: I would be more receptive to the Holy Spirit. This is important to me because our gifts are revealed by the Holy Spirit.

Thanks for reminding me of the power of prayer.

  6. Daniel was faithful to God and faithful to pray so even though what seemed like what would be calamity, God turned into an opportunity to be part of showing God’s power
