Attack-counter attack! This is fantastic Beverley. You are spot on with describing the attacks from the enemys negative terminologies that provokes fear in the hearts of people with a counter attack using the all-powerful Words of God which enables us to overcome these phantom fears. That’s why we should continually feast on the Word of God that we will automatically and spiritually come against this negative narrative that has been so pervasive these past few months. The scriptures which come to mind are:

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
    and–

    (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
    2 Corinthians 10:4-5

Thank you for addressing this subject. God bless.♡

    1. Amen! Quick and powerful! The Word of God will quickly nullify the effect of the words of death spoken by the enemy. The Word of God is also powerful enough to tear down the strongholds of the enemy. Thank you for reminding us of these powerful scriptures. Enjoy the rest of your day. ❤❤

  2. This is inspiring Beverley! The news reports are so dismal. As I read through your post, I could feel God’s peace. I’m thankful we can look to Him for answers.

    1. Praise the Lord! Only in God we can find peace. At first when I use to listen to news I really felt fear creeping in my heart until I realized it was a strategy of the enemy.

I noticed on the news that they kept showing the same dismal footage over and over again to make it appeared as if there were chaos in the hospitals. Jesus warned us that we need to be as wise as the serpent but harmles as a dove. This means we have to use our spiritual eyes to see their thoughts and intent. God is able to reveal the plot of the enemy to His children. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts. I appreciate your support.

Thank you, Beverly! My father and I have been discussing this very thing recently-the need to keep lifting up the Good News in the midst of all the doom and gloom.

    1. We ceratainly need to speak the positive Word of God in the atmosphere and to show love to each other instead of treating each other as if we are lepers.

Notice how some of the workers in the buisness places treat you when you enter their premises.

I went to the hospital yesterday to fill a prescription and they would not let me come inside. They were fanning me away telling me that I should stand six feet away from them. Can you imagine!

A hospital that is usually filled with germs! It is unbelievable!

But I thank God that He said come to Him! He will never shun us away regardless of our state or circumstances. Praise the Lord!

This 6 ft distancing is over the top. Why 6 ft? Why not 5 or 7ft? I looked up the number 6 in the book I have Biblical Mathematics, Keys to Scripture Numerics, by Evangelist Ed F. Vallowe, and the number 6 means “weakness of man”, “evils of satan”, and “manifestation of sin”. I guess that makes sense, because as you said God didn’t impose this distancing, man did. God is Love and unity, compassionate and merciful. Try to show that toward a needful soul and you get fanned away and reprimanded for breaking the rules of distancing and isolation. We must not fear what man can do to us when we take a stand in love toward others. No matter what. God is watching and will protect us when we take that stand. It will come to a point where the rubber will meet the road and it will be by our faith that we will overcome. It will be like the Book of Acts, part 2. We can cut it. ♡

      2. Totally agree with you. God created man on the six day so the number six is always associated with man.

Indeed, I believe that this is the reason why God inspired the person who decided to only include 66 books in the Bible. It is the right amount of books necessary to help sinful man and lead them to salvation through Jesus Christ.

Revelation 6:6 (Note the chapter and verse has the mumber 6) says,
“And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.”
This is another proof that this verse directly refers to humanity and the special protection that God has for us. Thanks my friend for your valuable information.

  6. The more time we spend in the truth of God’s word the less effect the world will seep into our minds. Thank you for the words you shared.
