The Pathway To The Tree Of Life

2–3 minutes

Where is the Tree of Life? How can I get access to the Tree of Life?

The first created human beings failed and they lost the gift of eternal life.

God drove Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden and placed at the east of the garden cherubim with a flaming sword that turned every way to keep the way of the Tree of Life (Genesis 3:24).

God commanded these angels to guard the path to the Tree of Life. They could not move from this position until their mission was completed.

Completion of the cherubim’s mission

On the first day of the week, after Christ died and was in the grave for three days and three nights, the women went to visit the tomb with spices to anoint the body of Christ.

However, on arrival at the tomb, they found the stone rolled away, and they did not see the body of Jesus Christ.

The perplexed ladies began to search the vault until eventually, they saw two men in shining garments.

I believe that these two men were the cherubim who were told to guard the path to the Tree of Life.

The two men announced to the women that Christ was not in the tomb, but He rose and was alive (Luke 24).

Jesus Christ conquered death and the grave and was seen by many people. Jesus Christ is the Word of God and was also represented as the Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden (John 1).

Thus, when the angels said to the women at the empty tomb,

“He is not here, but is risen:” (Luke 24:6)

They were in fact, telling them that the Tree of Life was released to the world so that everyone could get access to it.

The angels told them to report the good news to the other disciples who then announced it to the entire world.

The tree of life is among us and we can receive Him right now to gain eternal life.

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ granted us free access to the Tree of life.

Receive Him in your life today!

Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. (Isaiah 55:1)

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. (Proverbs 11:30)

  2. Happy Resurrection day Beverly. Yes Jesus is the tree of life and it may be that these two angels were those Cherubim. It also is likely that because the law requires two or more witnesses to validate a testimony. The two angels are those first heavenly witnesses.

  3. Beverley! Thank you for bringing this to our attention on this most blessed special day in earthly human existence, Easter Sunday! As I understand, in the Garden of Eden God the Creator was the Tree of Life for Adam and Eve, but when transgression or their not following God’s instruction occurred and they were banished from the Garden the only means to restore the Tree of Life or sustaining power of God and to again be worthy of being in the presence of absolute perfection was to offer Jesus Christ as the only way to restore God’s full grace and sustaining power to human kind, the redemption by the body and blood of Christ, thus making Him Jesus the true Tree of Life from that point on with the crucifixion, or once again God would be the source of everlasting Life but only through Jesus the Lamb of God; as He should be. Let me know if I’m explaining clearly here, it’s been a long day and I’m tired awoke about 3am. God bless you and Happy Easter Sunday!
