I love this post, and I especially love Habakkuk 3:17-19. The Lord led me to those verses back in September, when I was rejoicing because God had miraculously answered a prayer of mine. In my heart, I heard the Lord say: “Would you still be thanking and praising me, if my answer to your prayer had been No, or Not Yet?” Yes, Lord! I will joy in the God of my salvation, even when the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vine.

  7. I can’t speak for anyone else, but in my post when I addressed the topic I was speaking of the government advising and the government mandating, there is a difference between the two. At the time of my post it was not mandated that we close the doors of our church therefore it was not lawful at least not in my city. Its since been lawful for us to gather and it goes through up until the end of the month of April and we have complied. Now we have moved our services online and using Zoom for our other ministry events. There are different regulations for different areas. My intentions was not to be accusatory, but for us to wake up and see the ploy of the enemy. There were people who indeed could’ve attended their local church but chose not to out of fear, not because of adhering to the CDC guidelines. Refuse to go to church but not the grocery store or other public places where there are also crowds. **blank stare** In any event, I chose to speak out the stance I was taking.

    1. It is perfectly fine for you to express your opinion on the matter. I also believe that this virus is thriving on fear and it is fear and anxiety attack that are paralizing and killing people.

We have to pray against the spirit of fear that is currently plaguing the entire world. Now we have a new fear- the fear of losing our job and not having the money to provide for our family. I must admit that this fear is one that is threathening me right now. I have to keep reminding myself that God is a provider and I must trust Him. Let us continue to pray for each other.

I have not visit your blog for a while, but I have not forgotten you. I will soon. Have a blessed day and please stay safe under the wings of the Almighty.

      1. Yes, the spirit of fear is running rampant. As Believers we must stand on the Word. I have been fearful too not for myself, but for my loved ones. I have to constantly remind myself that God is in control, nothing happens without His permission and He is perfect in all of His ways.

Be encouraged sister, I pray that God will keep you in His perfect peace.

  8. This was such a good point, “if a natural disaster such as an earthquake shakes the entire earth such that every country and territory is affected then there will be no one to help the other.” With the entire world being shaken to its core, no one can look to another to help….we all have to look up to the Unshakable One; the only One who is our Help.

    1. Praise God, because at that time the Lord will descend from heaven with the shout of angelic hosts. Every eyes will see Him and every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Hallelujah! Can’t wait to see this glorious day.
