Help! I Made my Bed in Hell Part Two
The following prayer is a powerful prayer from the word of God to receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in order to know the Lord. You cannot have an intimate relationship with God unless He gives you this spirit. This is the prayer that God inspired me to pray and I was delivered from the bondage of fear and loneliness (Help! I made my bed in Hell Part One). After the Lord cleansed my heart He filled me with His spirit of wisdom and revelation.
A Prayer for Spiritual Wisdom and Revelation
I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him; I pray that the eyes of my heart will be enlightened, that I may know what is the hope of His calling, and what are His glorious riches of His inheritance in the saints;
And what is the exceeding greatness of His power towards me, who believe. It is according to that working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead, and made Him to sit at His right hand in heavenly places; Far above all principality, and power, and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come. He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.
So, For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant me, according to the riches of His Glory, that I may be strengthened with power through His spirit in the inward man; That Christ may dwell in my heart through faith; to the end that I being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth; and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that I may be filled with the fullness of God.
Out of his fullness I will receive grace upon grace. Therefore I will hold fast the confession of my hope without wavering; for He who promised is faithful. I will consider how to provoke one another to love and good works; be kindly affectionate one to another with brotherly love, in honor, giving preference to one another. I will love without hypocrisy.
I will abhor that which is evil and cling to that which is good. I will not be weary in doing good, for I will reap in due season, if I do not give up. So then, as I have opportunity, let me do what is good towards all men, especially toward those who are of the household of faith. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Ephesians 3:14-19; Ephesians 1:17-23; Hebrews 10:23-24; Galatians 6:9)
