God does not leave anything unfinished.
The Lord who has begun a good work in you will complete it to the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6).
This is a promise from the Lord that you can be confident in.
The Seven Blessings of Completeness
1. Goodness
At the beginning of creation, whenever God completed a task, He looked at it and said it was good.
And God called the dry land Earth, and the gathering together of the waters He called Seas. And God saw that it was good.
Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
Genesis 1:10,31 NKJV
When God created man, He gave him a home in the Garden of Eden, but the Lord said that it was not good for the man to be alone.
So, the Lord created Eve from the rib of man and together they were good.
2. Rest and Refreshed
After a project is completed, you can rest and enjoy it. So it is with God.
Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.
Genesis 2:1-3 NKJV
3. Memorial
When Moses completed the writing of the book of the law, he placed it in the Ark of the Covenant as a memorial to the children of Israel (Deuteronomy 31:24-27).
After Joshua and the people crossed over Jordon, they built an altar to the Lord as a memorial (Joshua 4:10-24).
4. Sanctification
After King Solomon completed the temple of God, he dedicated it to the Lord with prayer and thanksgiving, and the Lord sanctified it (2 Chronicles 6 & 7).
For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.
2 Chronicles 7:16 NKJV
5. Restoration
The Lord will definitely restore you to your original self after He has healed you completely (John 7). He will restore all the years that the enemy has stolen from you.
After a set time of judgment for disobedience, the Lord will completely restore you to your original position.
For thus says the Lord: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place.
Jeremiah 29:10 NKJV
6. Fullness
When you are complete in God, you will not lack anything.
But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
James 1:4 NKJV
7. Thoroughly equipped with the Word of God.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
These are the blessings that you will receive when you are complete in God.
For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power (Colossians 2:9-10).
