Every encounter that Christ has with a woman transforms her life.
On this special Mother’s Day, I want you to receive a transformation from the presence of Jesus Christ.
Below is a list of only fourteen of the many blessings that Jesus imparted by His presence.

1. The Gift of the Holy Spirit
The conception of Jesus brought blessings to His mother, and while in His mother’s womb, He gave the gift of the Holy Spirit to Elizabeth (Luke 1:26-45).
Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb! But why is this granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For indeed, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

2. Compassion
When Jesus visited Peter’s house (one of His disciples), He immediately noticed that his mother-in-law was ill. Jesus gently touched her hands, and she was healed.
She left His presence ready for service (Matthew 8:14-15; Luke 4:38-39).
So He stood over her and rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and served them.

Jesus had compassion on the widow whose only son had died. On her way to bury her son, Jesus raised him from the dead, and she left glorifying God.
When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother.

3. Restoration
Christ willingly followed the ruler to his house to heal his daughter.
At the ruler’s home, Jesus removed the doubters and healed the young lady (Mathew 9:18-19; 23-26; Mark 5:21-24;35-43).
Then He took the child by the hand, and said to her, “Talitha, cumi,” which is translated, “Little girl, I say to you, arise.” Immediately, the girl arose and walked, for she was twelve years of age. And they were overcome with great amazement.

4. Freedom
Jesus was never too busy to help someone in need.
Jesus had many followers who followed Him wherever He went. Thus, it was difficult to get close to Him if you needed His help.
However, Jesus was able to recognize and acknowledge the touch of a woman who needed a miracle from Jesus to heal her diseased body.
And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

5. Humility and Victory
A perceived insult from Jesus did not deter the woman who needed her demon-possessed daughter to be healed.
Instead, the woman humbled herself and pleaded for the crumbs from the Master’s table.
Consequently, Jesus delivered her daughter with just a word, and she left His presence victorious (Matthew 15:21-28).
Then Jesus answered and said to her, “O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

6. Blessings on Their Children
Mothers brought their children to Jesus, and He laid His hands on them and blessed them.
These mothers left His presence rejoicing because their children were given a good future.
Furthermore Jesus rebuked anyone who offended or abused little children (Matthew 10:13-15; Mark 10:13-16).
But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

7. Kinsmanship
Jesus considers whoever does the will of His Father as His siblings and mother (Mark 3:31-35).
Therefore, you automatically become a part of the family of God when you accept the Lord as your Savior.
8. Exaltation
Christ praised the widow who gave her entire substance as an offering to God in the Temple (Mark 12:41-44).
So He called His disciples to Himself and said to them, “Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.”

9. Forgiveness
While Christ was having dinner at the house of one of the religious elites, a sinful woman washed His feet with her tears and anointed His feet with fragrant oil.
Jesus did not reject her touch, but forgave her sins (Luke 7:36-50).
Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.” “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

The woman left His presence free from the bondage of sin and with the peace of God.
10. Ministry
The women who had been healed and delivered by Jesus became His faithful followers who ministered to His daily needs (Luke 8:1-3).
Mary and Martha welcomed Jesus into their house. Martha served Him with substance, but Mary served Him with her presence (Luke 10:38-42).
And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.

Both women learned that the best ministry is having an intimate relationship with God.
11. Kindness
Jesus felt it necessary to go through Samaria on the way to Galilee.
In Samaria, He met a woman at the well whom He gave the living water of salvation. He showed her that, despite her faults, she was precious to God (John 4:1-42).
Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

The woman left His presence with the gift of eternal life.
12. No Condemnation, Only Deliverance
The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman who was caught in the act of adultery to Jesus to be condemned.
They wanted to test Jesus to see how He would deal with her because the law required that she was stoned.
Christ exposed the accusers’ sins such that they could not lift a rock to throw at her. They left His presence ashamed.
But the woman left His presence, delivered from her sins (John 8:1-12).
When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?”
She said, “No one, Lord.”
And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.”

13. Legacy
Before Christ’s death, He arranged for His mother to be cared for by His disciples (John 19:25-27).
When Jesus, therefore, saw His mother and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son!” Then He said to the disciple, “Behold your mother!” And from that hour that disciple took her to his own home.

14. Happiness
The Seed of a woman brought forth the Son of the living God.
The women first discovered that the Lord had risen from the grave when they saw the angel, who showed them the empty tomb.
The women left the graveside happy but fearful. But, on their way to give the good news to the disciples, Jesus met them and said, “Rejoice! Do not be afraid.”
The women left His presence rejoicing and without fear (Matthew 28:1-10: Mark 16:1-11).
Now when she had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” (John 20:14-15 NKJV)

Every woman who met Christ left His presence a better person without any adverse effects.
Jesus removed stigmatization, discrimination, intimidation, abuse, fear, and every negative connotation from the life of every woman.
Therefore, the Church needs to return to the examples of Christ to ensure that all women receive the blessings of Jesus.
