The Fun Side Of Boxing Day (Fun Fridays)

1–2 minutes

Traditionally, Boxing day was the day after Christmas where the servants, trades people and the poor in Europe were presented with gifts.

The working class had to work on Christmas Day so they were given the opportunity to celebrate the day after.

In modern day society from the 20th century, Boxing Day is associated with shopping and sporting events.(Britannica)

Toady, we will celebrate Boxing Day with some humor to spice up your day.

What is Boxing Day?

I came, I saw, I conquered the clearance aisle.

Boxing Day is the day when the only thing I’m punching is my debit card

Boxing Day is the day where elbows fly and wallets cry.

Boxing Day is a real punch-out sale today!

The only time when you fight for the front of the line.

On Boxing Day don’t throw in the towel – throw it in the cart!

It is a time to throw punches and snag discounts.

The Christmas spirit is gone, but my shopping spirit lives on.

You better not cry—unless you missed that 70% off.
