The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is His name.
(Exodus 15:3 NKJV)
The above verse assures us that God is a warrior and so He is constantly fighting our battles.
How does the Lord fight our battle?
The Lord will rebuke the devourer
The Lord will rebuke the enemy and expose their nakedness. He will uproot their foundation and tear down their strongholds (2 Samuels 22:16).
“And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” Says the Lord of hosts;
(Malachi 3:11 NKJV)
The Lord will scatter the enemy

When the Lord thundered from heaven He will send bolts of lightning to create confusion in the enemy’s camp and scatter them (2 Samuel 22:15).
The Lord will shake the heavens to save you
The Lord will shake the heaven and the earth just to save you.
Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven quaked and were shaken because He was angry. Smoke went up from His nostrils, and devouring fire from His mouth; coals were kindled by it.
(2 Samuel 22:8-9 NKJV)
The Lord will provide you with the perfect weapons to fight the enemy

The Bible states that the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God to tear down strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments (2 Corinthians 10:4 NLT).
Read Ten Violent Weapons of Victory
The believers’ most powerful weapon is prayer because it is our direct contact with God at all times.
Prayer will give you the strength to pursue, overtake and recover all that the enemy has stolen.
So when the enemy roars in like a flood put on the whole armor of God, stand firm and trust in the Lord because JEHOVAH is His name.
