  5. Thanks Beverley for the encouragement to stand firm in the Lord and I appreciate the verses you shared. The phrase you mentioned, reminds me of another phrase I heard, “caught between a rock and a hard place.”

    1. That is another idiom which means the same. This one reminds me of Moses when God told him to speak to the rock but because he was faced with the rebellious Israelites he hit the rock in anger. I guess the hard place was the hard-heart Israelites. 🙂
