Seven Reasons To Trust God

Some people find it difficult to believe in a God that they cannot see. They prefer to have tangible evidence that they can see and touch.

However, as children of God, we believe in Him by faith. We trust completely in the Lord Jesus Christ because we have evidence of His mighty power in our lives that saves and keeps us.

Additionally, the following are seven more reasons that you can trust the Lord to be the God of your life.

1.  You can trust the loving-kindness of God because we are currently enjoying the blessings that He provided for us from the foundation of the earth.

These blessings are forgiveness, redemption, health, authority, love, satisfaction, revitalization

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. (Psalms 103:1-5 NKJV)

2.  You can trust in the compassion of God because His mercy is everlasting and will not end on judgment day.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. As a father pities his children, so the Lord pities those who fear Him. For He knows our frame; He remembers that we are dust. (Psalms 103:11-14 NKJV)

3.  You can trust the right hand of God because it is righteous and holy and He is holding you.

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. (Isaiah 41:10 NKJV)

4.  You can trust in the presence of the Lord because He promised that He will never leave nor forsake you.

Nevertheless

Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward, receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And there is none upon earth that I desire besides You. My flesh and my heart fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. (Psalms 73:23-26 NKJV)

5.  You can trust in the provision of God because His name is Jehovah.

In the presence of your enemies, God will reward you for all the trials you have to endure at their hands.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. (Psalms 23:5 NKJV)

6.  You can trust in the justice of the Lord because He is a defender of the defenseless and the oppressed.

The Lord executes righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known His ways to Moses, and His acts to the children of Israel. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in mercy. He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His anger forever. He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. (Psalms 103:6-10 NKJV)

7.  You can trust in the faithfulness and stability of God because He remains the same forever and is not slack concerning His promises.

Of old, You laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You will endure; yes, they will all grow old like a garment; like a cloak, You will change them, and they will be changed. But You are the same, and Your years will have no end. The children of Your servants will continue, and their descendants will be established before You.” (Psalms 102:25-28 NKJV)
