Begin A New Chapter

1–2 minutes

It is easy to give up when you are going through some tough times.

Giving up does not make the problems go away it only increases your burden. When you feel like giving up think about the following verse.

It is of the Lord‘s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

This verse means that God understands your shortcomings and so He created a new day for you to make a fresh start.

Every time that you awake in the morning it is an opportunity to begin again.

The Lord will give you the strength to persevere. He will give you the wisdom and knowledge to begin a new chapter in your life.

My prayer for you, today, is that you do not close the book to your life because of difficulties but you will remember that God is a God of second chances and He is granting you new mercies, new compassion, and new favor in your life.

Receive of God today. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Don’t give up on yourself.

  6. That is one of my favorite Bible verses. After my first husband died and I remarried later, we had that song “Great is Thy Faithfulness” sung at our wedding. For me, it was a testimony of how faithful God was to me and my daughters as we walked through that difficult time and how He restored joy to us once again.
