You Are Not A Reproach

In the past, people’s criticism makes you feel bad about yourself.

In the past, you felt disgraced because of your once sinful lifestyle.

Today is the present and God has removed the reproach of your past.

He has opened the windows of heaven and has removed the barrenness from your life.

The Lord has restored your stolen goods.

You are no longer a reproach of the foolish.

The Egyptians of the past will no longer be your reproach.

And now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in You. Deliver me from all my transgressions; do not make me the reproach of the foolish. (Psalms 39:7-1 NKJV)

The birth of Joseph removed the reproach from his mother.

A barren woman in those days was considered a disgrace to the family and community. She was ridiculed because of her inability to conceive.

However, one day the Lord answered her prayers and opened her womb and she conceived and gave birth to a son.

She named him Joseph, which means “Jehovah has added.”

The Lord removed the reproach of her barrenness and honor her with a son.

Joseph was a special child because he grew up to become a blessing not only to his family but to the entire world.

Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb. And she conceived and bore a son, and said, “God has taken away my reproach.”  So she called his name Joseph, and said, “The Lord shall add to me another son.” (Genesis 30:22-24 NKJV)

The Lord has removed your reproach and is giving you double blessings for your troubles.

Receive of the Lord, today.
