Safe During Times Of Famine
Before a calamity happen God will reveal it to His prophets and servants
God gave Pharaoh a dream where he saw seven lean cows ate seven fat cows, but the lean cows still remain thin.
Likewise, Pharaoh had a second dream of seven withered corns eating seven fat healthy corns but still remain withered.
Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one; God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do: The seven good cows are seven years, and the seven good heads are seven years; the dreams are one. And the seven thin and ugly cows which came up after them are seven years, and the seven empty heads blighted by the east wind are seven years of famine.
This is the thing which I have spoken to Pharaoh. God has shown Pharaoh what He is about to do. Indeed seven years of great plenty will come throughout all the land of Egypt, but after them, seven years of famine will arise, and all the plenty will be forgotten in the land of Egypt; and the famine will deplete the land. So the plenty will not be known in the land because of the famine following, for it will be very severe. And the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass. (Genesis 41:25-32 NKJV)
Joseph interpreted Pharoah’s dream that there will be seven years of plenty of food throughout the land of Egypt.
The crops and livestock will flourish greatly.
But alas there will follow seven years of grievous famine. There will be no rain throughout the land and the plants will wither and die.
The seven good years will be completely wiped away and forgotten by the severe dearth upon the land.
Before this devastation happened God prepared someone to warn His people so that they were adequately prepared for the impending famine.
The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty. (Proverbs 21:5 NKJV)
Prepare! Prepare!
Whenever there is about to be a significant event upon the land, the Lord will prepare someone with wisdom and revelation to prepare the way.
The double dream of Pharaoh meant that it was established by God and it would come to pass.
The Lord is saying to us that there will be periods of abundance followed by periods of drought in our lives.
During times of plenty, we must prepare for the drought season by planting, harvesting, storing, and saving.
We must prepare so that we will not perish during the time of drought.
Will there be an impending famine upon the earth?
Yes, there will be two kinds of famine.
A famine of food and water and famine of the Word of God.
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the Lord: (Amos 8:11)
How long will this famine last and will it affect the whole earth?
The mercy of God is established on the number seven because God rested on the seventh day from all His labor and He is still at rest.
Therefore, your periods of plenty and drought will last until the 7th. It could be seven days, seven weeks, seven months, or seven years.
It will be done on an individual basis, which means your period of plenty may coincide with my season of drought and vice versa.
Thus, we need to be cognizant of each other to help in times of need.
God wants you to forget all your toil and be fruitful in the land of your affliction.
The Lord wants you to be safe during times of famine.
God bless you and stay safe in the shelter of the “Most High” God during these trying times.
Amen!

As I read your post, I thought about how the toilet paper disappeared during the beginning of Covid and all the disinfectant supplies. I can’t imagine how horrible it would be if everything was gone, especially the food supply. It’s important to walk in God’s wisdom, He will instruct and teach us in what to do for the current and future events that are happening. He is our provider. Thanks Beverley for this encouragement . How’s Jadon? ❤️

Hi Dawn, you are so right. We are living in a time where we need to have the wisdom of God. Only God knows what Lord ahead of us in this world and so we have to stick close to Him. Jason is doing fine. He is settling in. Thanks for the encouraging word. Blessings.
