I googled the question “When will Christ return to heart?” and it gave me several blogs that provided information about the events that will take place before the second coming of Christ, but none of the writers gave any specific date.

Then I found a post entitled: “The date Jesus will return is revealed at last!” The Writer declared, “I know the date that Jesus will return! I figured it out!” (Myers).

This is breaking news! So I decided to read the article and it was very enlightening!

Was this writer correct in his analogy?

I will not reveal the writer’s secret because I want you to read it for yourself. The link is located at the end of this article.

However, we do not need to guess or try to calculate the dates of Christ’s return because He has revealed it to us in the Bible.

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. (Matthew 24: 36-37)

The day and hour are known only by God because the date refers to His time span, not the human calendar. A thousand years to us is like yesterday or a watch in the night in the sight of God (Psalms 90:4; 2 Peter 3:8).

Therefore, we are living in the ‘day’ of Christ’s return. This ‘day’ is God’s time.

Furthermore, Jesus stated He will appear suddenly similar to the days of Noah where floodwaters caught the people unaware while they were busy doing their own thing. (Matthew 24: 36-44)

Were these people really unaware of their impending judgment?

The Lord said that He will not judge us unless He warns us. So Noah warned the people for many years, but they did not believe.

Thus, in the days of Noah, there were stubbornness and unbelief.

Note that the days of Noah extend over several generations from the beginning of creation until the tower of Babel.

In Genesis chapter 2, God created the first humans but by the following chapter they fell into sin.

This downward spiral of sinful lifestyle continued and in chapter 5 the iniquities of humans were so great that God regretted in his heat that he had made humanity.

Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you. (Hosea 10:12)

Even though the generation of Seth had initially maintained a relationship with God, as the population increased the entire earth became defile with sin.

The innocent blood of murdered victims was continuously crying out to God for mercy, and the Lord was grieved and decided to cleanse the earth.

He said sorrowfully, “My Spirit will not always strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” (Genesis 6:3)

The days of Noah were filled with unlawfulness, rebellion, stubbornness and disobedience.

There were strange marriages taken place between different species.

And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. (Genesis 6:1-2)

Extraterrestrial heavenly beings cohabit with humans and contaminated the DNA of humans. It is believed that other bizarre combination of humans and animal also took place during that time.

During the time of Noah there was an increased in scientific knowledge combined with witchcraft.

It was an age of great deception.

Can you recognize any similarity between our modern day society and the days of Noah?

In deed, the evidence is clear and so we need to be ready for the appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bride of Christ needs to be like the five wise virgins who had their lamps trim with excess oil waiting for the Bride Groom.

The oil signifies the anointing of the Holy Spirit who will prepare you to become the oil and wine.
