Mene, Mene, Tekel, Parsin
“Here is what these words mean:
Mene: God has numbered the days of your reign and brought it to an end.
Tekel: You have been weighed on the scales and found wanting.
Peres: Your kingdom is divided and given to the Medes and Persians.” (Daniel 5:26-28 NKJV)

Belshazzar was an arrogant king who felt that he was worthy to drink from the sacred golden vessels that his father had stolen from the temple of the living God.
But as he celebrated with his wives and lords while praising their pagan gods, behold a hand appeared out of nowhere and began to write on the wall.
The hand wrote “Mene, mene, tekel, parsin”
The terrified king called for his magicians and astrologers to read the words on the wall but they could not.
The king almost collapsed in fear until one of his wives told him that there was a man who served the most holy God who could read the writings on the wall.
The king hurriedly sent for Daniel and promised to give him glorious things if he could interpret the words on the wall.
Daniel refused the king’s gifts and reminded him about the downfall of his father due to his pride.
Although King Nebuchadnezzar repented and was reinstated on his throne, his son Belshazzar continued to walk in pride.

Pride goes before a fall and a proudful heart will be humbled.
Thus, God numbered, weighed and divided the king’s kingdom.
That same night the king was slain by King Darius of Mede who conquered the kingdom of Babylon.
Are our days numbered?
Pride and rebelliousness have overtaken the world that we live in.
Men have replaced God with technology.
Men are seeking to inhabit other worlds that were not created for their habitation.
They are wandering out of the boundaries that God ordained for them and are seeking to establish kingdoms into the heavens.

Men are seeking eternal life by merging their brain and souls with high tech computers.
Men are trying to find the secrets of God’s creation by splitting matter to find a “god particle“.
Men are trying to tear down the veil between the physical and the spiritual realm.
Will men succeed?
Have men gone too far?
Is their a writing on the wall?
Is God numbering our days?
Is He measuring and weighing our hearts?
Have we reached the point where God will split the earth with His feet and overthrow earthly kingdoms?
These are Questions we need to consider as we ponder on all the evil that is plaguing our society.

We are presently living in a world filled with deception and men are building another tower of Babel.
History have repeated itself and we are living in the days Noah.
Therefore, we are living in the hour of the second coming of Christ.
But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (Matthew 24:36)
What should we do?
Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. (Matthew 24:42)
Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 24:44)
How should we watch?
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. (Matthew 26:42)
Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me. (Ezekiel 3:17)
Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. (1 Thessalonians 5:14)
Over two thousand years, many “Noahs” all over the world have been preaching and warning about the impending judgment of God.
It is now full time that we take heed and obey the warning so that we and our household will be saved.
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. (Hebrews 11:7)
