Did you know that you were born with generational blessings?
We have often heard the term “generational curses.” It is believed that the sins of the parents are passed done to the children.

Sickness and diseases that are hereditary such as diabetes and hypertension are also considered generational curses.
The scripture in Deuteronomy 5:9, which states that the Lord will visit the iniquities of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation seems to give credibility to generational curses.
Indeed, the entire human race was placed under a curse due to the sins of one man.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. (Romans 5:12, 17, 19)
Based on the above verses the generational curse begins with one man, Adam, but it was broken by the obedience and righteousness of one man – Jesus Christ.
Thank you, Lord!
My brother, Maurice, at Soul Renewed, wrote an excellent post entitled How to break family curses. I encourage you to read this article for additional information about generational curses and how to overcome them.
However, we must not forget that since the beginning of time God pronounced profound blessings upon the first humans whom He created and these blessings are passed done from generation to generation.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:27-28)
These inherent blessings are fruitfulness, multiplication, replenishment, subjugate (subdue) and dominate.

Fruitfulness
You were born with the ability to be profitable and to produce good results.
And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. (Psalms 1:3)
Multiplication
You were born to increase. You shall be above and not beneath and you will be the head and not the tail.
Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep. Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out. (Deuteronomy 28: 4-6)
Replenishment
You were born to be complete again. In other words, sin separated you from God, but through the Lord Jesus Christ, you can be restored to your rightful position as sons and daughters of God.
For in Him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power: (Colossians 2:9-10)
Subjugate
You were born to conquer and bring into subjection anything that comes against the principles of God. Sin lies at your door but you have the authority to subdue it.
Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us. (Romans 8:27)
Dominate
You were born to rule over and control all the resources of the earth including the plants and all the creatures on the earth, in the sea, and air.
This also includes Satan who is the prince of the power of the air, and his evil spirits (Ephesians 2:2).
Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19)
You were born a winner so walk in your victory!
