  1. Thank you, Nickay for writing and publishing this excellent post. As I read, I felt proud of you as a mother knowing that you have experienced the power and love of God in a personal way.

I realized that being a person who is very private it took a great deal of courage to share your personal experience with anxiety attack and also how you have overcome it both literally and spiritually.

I know that this post will help someone who is battling fear and panic attack and I pray that they will experience the love of God which will conquer fear.

Thank you, once again Nickay and I pray that you will continue to walk in the love and beauty of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I pray that you will remain sheltered under the wings of the Almighty. May the Lord bless and keep you. May His face shines upon you and give you His peace. The peace that passes all understanding.

  3. Awesome post Nickay. The COVID19 is such a serious health issue, and that’s mainly what we now hear all day in the news. I think that is playing a big part in terrifying people, which can then bring on a host of other negative emotions. Even as Christians we can at times get swept up in all the negative news. Perhaps instead, the news should start giving little healthful tips as to how to boost our immune systems so that we may have a fighting chance against this deadly virus.

  4. So good – we all need to slow down and get away from the constant news cycle that perpetuates this. I had two solid days of feeling like I had a huge weight in my chest which I’d never felt before… and it would lift once I got my mind off the negative and on to God and His Word. We don’t realize how powerful our thoughts can be, for good and bad!

  9. Excellent post, Nickay. Thank you! I never really put this together before, the similarity of a panic attack and Covid-19. I have heard recently that the majority of those who have died from this virus have been people with a low immune system, which can and is triggered by diet, lifestyle, and FEAR. In fact, they are now saying that we need to not allow ourselves to become fearful or we will raise our chances of contracting the virus and possibly dying from it. So, what you’re saying makes complete sense. Fear + Covid-19 are a deadly combination. God bless you!

  12. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I found myself in the ER thinking I was dying, unable to breathe, simply to be told yet again…anxiety attack. Fear was something I have lived with all my life and it really reared its ugliness in my mid-30’s. I thought I was going to die from panic until Jesus. He came into my life in a powerful way and now anxiety doesn’t sit on the throne anymore. Jesus is front and center and when I start to feel anxious or fearful because I still do at times I go straight to HIM. I now write on my blog about my journey with faith and fear. Thank you for this post! Our world is facing a pandemic of fear but God is in control and I rest in that peaceful truth.

    1. Panic attacks mimics certain illness and sometimes health workers will not know the difference. When it happens pray against the spirit of fear. Thanks for reading and sharing your testimony. I appologise for the late response
