Six Ways To Revitalize The Soul
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. (Genesis 2:7)
Similar to how a potter molded and shaped a clay into a beautiful object so did God molded the first human being from a lump of clay.
Man was a lifeless object, though perfectly formed, until the Creater breathed His Spirit within his body and the clay became flesh, and blood ran through his veins.
Then, man became a living breathing soul!
According to Strong Hebrew/Greek Concordance, soul is from the Hebrew word nephesh which means a living breathing creature.
This word is taken from the root word naphash which means refresh.
God created the first human with a soul that was filled with vitality and was able to replenish cells to keep the body fresh and young.
However, sin disturbed this natural process and the soul died when man ingested the knowledge of evil.
Can the soul live again?
Is it possible for the soul to return to its original duty to refresh and revitalize the body?

There is hope!
Prophecy to your soul.
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God. (Psalms 42:11)

There is atonement for the soul!
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)
And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. (Romans 5:11)

The Word of God!
Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. (Deuteronomy 11:18, 21)
-
Love
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of the Lord: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which the Lord sware unto thy fathers. (Deuteronomy 6:5, 18)
-
Obedience
And the Lord thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the Lord will again rejoice over thee for good, as He rejoiced over thy fathers:
If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to keep His commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and if thou turn unto the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. (Deuteronomy 30:9-10)

Service to the Lord
And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,
That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. (Deuteronomy 11:13-14)
May you allow the Lord to replenish your soul.
