If You Had No Fear

If you are not afraid of anything or anyone in this world, what will your life be like?

Do you think that your life will better than it is right now?

Do you think that you will be healthier, richer and more successful?

What would you do if you were not afraid?

I saw the above question in one of the inspirational quotes apps and it left me pondering.

The fact of the matter is that as Christians we should have no fear because God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of love, power and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

However, some people are battling with fear and this is preventing them from acheiving their full potential.

I have been battling with fear all my life and God has taught me how to conquer fear itself.

However, there is one thing that I need to overcome and this is the fear of public speaking.

So, my answer to the above question is that if I was not afraid to speak in public, I would move out of my comfort zone of only writing the messages that God has given me to publicly teaching the Word of God.

Now, it is your turn to answer the question.

What would you do if you were not afraid?

  1. Hi Beverley : Good post with great insights. If I were not afraid, I would evangelize more to people, without fear of rejection. I can imagine the courage of the early disciples.
Like you, I am comfortable writing, but I wish I had more ability to speak to people face to face about the grace and salvation offered to those who will put their trust in Jesus. 🤗

  2. If I had no fear, specifically the fear of failure, I would also get up and out and answer the call to speak publicly about how God transformed my life and can and will transform anyone else who needs healing! Jesus not only saved me, but he SAVED ME, saved my life! I would also publish the book I have written so I could reach more people with the Word of God’s healing love. Praying for you, Beverley, to conquer your fear and step up and out in your testimony ❤

  3. I still have fear, but I’m learning more and more that offering the imperfect parts of myself out there truly helps me to grow, and gain more confidence in chasing my dreams ❤️.
