Experiencing The Love Of God

Romans 8:31-39 contains some deep questions that we need to carefully think about when we are faced with difficult situations.

The answers to these questions are found in the first two verses of the same chapter.

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1-2)

The love that God has for humanity is proven in the sacrificial death of His Son, Jesus Christ, for our sins. When you receive the Spirit of adoption through Jesus Christ, you can say, “Abba Father” and experience God’s love as His children.

This love of God surpasses all earthly and heavenly things. Consequently, God will not allow anyone to fight against His children.

As a result of this love, there is nothing too hard for God to do for His children.

As a result of this special love, no one can condemn or charge anything against the people of God.

As a result of this precious love, no good thing will God withhold from His children.

This love is so firm, so steadfast and strong that it binds us tightly to Christ Jesus, our Lord, and nothing can separate us.

Because of the love of Abba, Father, I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18)

Let us ponder these questions one more time.

If God is for us, who can be against us?

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

Who shall lay anything to the charge of God’s elect?

Who is he who condemns?

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

Is there anything that can come between you and God?

Share with us your thoughts.

  1. If God be for us who can be against us? Absolutely No one
Who is he who condemn us? No one because God has justified me through Faith in Christ Jesus..and I am presented flawless and without blemish before God.
