Becoming the Oil and Wine blog was founded on March 19th, 2014 by Beverley Doreen Wright in direct obedience to God to teach, encourage and uplift His people.
In 2011, Beverley gave up all secular goals and desires to answer the call of God on her life. Her first project was to start this blog to share her journey to becoming the oil and wine.
God has called each of us to become the oil and wine. This is an advanced stage of maturity in God. The process to become these pure and refined products involve trials to help build and mold your character.
Becoming the oil and wine is an ongoing faith journey. But, during the process you will receive total protection from God because He has commanded the enemy to “harm not the oil and wine” (Revelation 6:6b NKJV)
As the Oil and Wine, you can be like the good Samaritan who poured in the oil and wine on the wounds of those who have been robbed and abused by the enemy.
Beverley’s second project was the released of her first book entitled Harm not the Oil and Wine, which you can purchase on Amazon.
Thank you for visiting and supporting this blog. Remain steadfast in your journey to become the Oil and Wine.
This poetic/prayer wriiten by Lillyofthevalley came as a prophetic word to me. A few hours after she sent it to me to be published, I received a phone call concerning my son. I found myself crying out to God for help. Right now, I am still crying to God for help. There is no one else that I can turn to but God. Lord, help us – your humble servants. Thank you, Susan and may God continue to bless and inspire you.

I cried out to God and he came through me after a difficult summer. I am so thankful we can cry out to God.

I’m sorry you had a difficult time during that particular summer, but thankful to God that He was there to be your very present help in your time of trouble.
We just came out of a very tenuous and troublesome past 4 months, but thanks be to God, we just put our trust in Him, that in time it would work out according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 was the scripture I was holding on to.
Thanks for sharing. Blessings to you.

He truly is. Each and every day I always thank Him for all His blessings, protection, and His Love, which never fails, and so much more as I go about my day. Bless God and He will always bless you.

Thank you for your kind words. It is reassuring to know that when we call out to Him in truth, He will always hear us. It blesses Him when we turn to Him first when trouble comes our way.

I never realized when I wrote this last poem (Cry Out To God), how prophetic it would be not just for Beverley, but for me as well. It is so amazing how Father God works in and through our lives on behalf of others, never realizing what anyone is going through at that moment or what lies before one down the road. It was me crying out to God. Case in point:
Last night, (Sunday), my husband started to experience numbness and tingling in His right hand and down his right side. I immediately drove him to the emergency department, and turns out he was experiencing an ischemic stroke. We got there just in time where he could be assessed and given a blood clot buster medication asap. I immediately went into prayer and was able to call a prayer warrior friend of mine and our church pastor. Long story short, our prayers were answered and my husband is ok. The medication did it’s job. He’s not out of the woods yet, but I am confident that all the prayers offered up on his behalf were a sweet aroma to our Heavenly Father, and very much appreciated by me, and to God be the glory.
I would like to take this moment and ask Beverley’s blog site family and anyone visiting Becoming the Oil and the Wine, to keep my husband, Russ, in prayer, and that the Great Physician, our Father God, will help my husband recover from the other issues which are keeping him in the hospital a couple more days. Thank you, and may God bless you for your faithfulness in prayer on behalf of my husband, your brother in Christ.
Susan
