Last night I went to a deliverance crusade where Marvin Sapp was the guest speaker.

His message was taken from Mark 8:20-26. This was the miracle of the blind man who received his sight from the Lord.

In this particular incident, Jesus did some strange things.

He first led the blind man out of the town of Bethsaida where He had met him.

Then even more strangly, Jesus spit on the man eyes.

Jesus did not make a clay with His spittle as He had done with the man who was blind from birth in John 9.

Jesus actually spit on this blind man’s eyes and put His hands upon him then asked Him what he saw.

The blind man said that he saw men as trees walking.

According to Bishop Sapp, this vision that the man saw was revelation.

The man who delights in the law of the Lord will be like trees planted by the rivers of waters and will bear fruit in season. His leaf will not wither and anything that he does will prosper. (Psalms 2:1-3)

Thus, the intimate touch from the Lord where some of His body fluid touched the the blind eyes caused the man to see in the spiritual realm what he should become. Amen!

The third touch from Jesus was the restoration of the mans’ natural eyesight.

Finally, Jesus told the man not to return to town but to go home and not to tell anyone.

A few days ago I shared with you the story of the mad man with the legions of demons.

When Jesus delivered the demonic man, He told him to go back and tell the others.

If you missed it, here it is: Proclaim your deliverance. 

Well, in this case, Jesus forbid the man to tell anyone about the incident.

This tells me that Jesus treated everyone differently because each of us is unique.

According Marvin Sapp, Jesus relieved us of having to explain our circumstances to anyone when He delivered us.

Also, for us to maintain our miracle we have to return home to the place where the Lord first saved and delivered us.

We cannot go back to town (Bethsaida) the place of sin or curse.

I was blessed by this revelatory message by Bishop Marvin Sapp and I was even more blessed when  he sang one of his popular song,  “Never could have made it without you”
