  1. Much needed post to balance our culture’s addiction of attacking leaders (not just in church but many areas). While there are bad pastors and leaders we must also be careful of making a blanket statement.

  2. Miriam and Aaron attacked Moses out of jealousy – and because he was married to an Ethiopian princess (why they were angry about that, I don’t know). That’s distinct (from my perspective, anyway) from becoming skeptical of most or all leaders as a result of public scandals (such as with Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn – whom I hold low views on). A blanket condemnation of them isn’t necessarily the way to go, but I certainly don’t entirely blame those who do go that way. I’ve long since stopped listening to the big preachers etc. I just read the Word of God for myself.

    1. A personal relationship with the Lord is the key as you said. I may listen now and again to mega pastors but I don’t follow them. Whatever is preached on the pulpit must aligned with the word of God and should confirm the word that God has already given you. Thank you for your input and have a blessed day.
