The Power Of Your Word
How many times have you heard someone said to you, “You can count on my word” but later found out those words were empty promises.
Your word has power. It can break or loose; it can curse or bless and it can divide or unite.
You have a choice on how to use the words that you speak over your self, your family and friends.
If you speak words that demean, demote and deceive others, those negative words not only affect the hearers but they will return to haunt you.
The Lord said that He honors His Word above the heaven and earth because they will pass away but His Word will not pass.
When the Lord speaks, His Word becomes life and will not return to Him void but must prosper in the things He sent it.
The Lord said He will not break His covenant nor alter the words from His mouth ( Psalms 89:34)
The Word of the Lord is powerful, and as children of God we inherited the power of the words that we speak.
So, let us use our words wisely and in the same manner in which the Lord used His Word.
Blessings of the Word of the Lord
The Word of the Lord is our direction. It is our daily meditation.
The Word of the Lord can heal, deliver, strengthen, and restore us.
No iniquity will befall us when we hide the Word of the Lord in our hearts.
The Word of the Lord is sweeter than honey to our taste.
The Word of the Lord is our hiding place. It is our refuge and shield.
The Word of the Lord is our SALVATION and it is our righteousness.
The Word of the Lord will redeem and revive us.
The Word of the Lord is our daily bread.
By the Word of the Lord He gives us the Spirit of wisdom and understanding.
Today, we have hope because we can trust in God’s Word.
Prayer to receive the Word of the Lord.
Lord, help us to hide your Word in our hearts so that we will not sin against you.
Revive and strengthen us with your Word O Lord.
Keep your Word of truth in our mouth so that it will be our comfort in times of afflictions.
Be merciful unto us according to your Word.
We will restrain our feet from every evil way so that we may keep Your Word because Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.
You are our hiding place and our shield; our hope is in Your word.
Therefore, uphold us according to Your Word, that we may live; and do not let us be ashamed of our hope.
Direct our steps by Your Word, and let no iniquity have dominion over us.
Tame our tongue so that we can speak your righteous Word.
Lord take the burning coals of fire from your altar and touch our lips to purify our words, O mighty God.
Cleanse our mouth and our body and make us pure.
Lord, help us to receive your holy Word and treasure it more than our necessary food because your Word is life to our bodies and souls.
In Jesus name we pray AMEN.
Reference: Psalms 119
How sweet are Your words to my taste, Sweeter than honey to my mouth! (Psalm 119:103)
How true, Jesus said that when you are taken before kings and governors that you should not worry what you are to speak that the words will be given you. That would be a blessed experience. In the interim hide His word in your heart.

That is the duty of the Holy Spirit to bring things to our remembrance and to teach us how to speak. Thank you.
