Six People Whom God Loves The Best
God loves everyone because we are all created in His image and likeness.
In fact, He loves us so much that He sent His only begotten son to die for us.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)
But, there are six people on this earth who are dearest to God’s heart.
1. Children
Children hold a special place in the heart of God and He elevates them to the greatest position in His kingdom. God loves children so much that He will severely punish anyone who abuses them.
Then little children were brought to Him that He might put His hands on them and pray, but the disciples rebuked them. But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” And He laid His hands on them and departed from there. (Matthew 19:13-14)
“Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to that man by whom the offense comes! (Matthew 18:6-7)
Absolutely no one will enter the Kingdom of God unless he/she becomes as humble as a child. Furthermore, when you receive a little child and show him/her kindness, you receive Christ.
Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me. (Matthew 18:2-5)
2. Orphans
The purest form of religion before God is to visit the orphans and widows in their trouble. It means that God requires that we take special care of widows and orphans in the Church.
3. Fatherless
The Lord promised to be a Father to the fatherless. He will defend the fatherless and take care of all their needs.
A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, Is God in His holy habitation. (Psalm 68:5)
Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. (Psalm 82:3)
To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed, That the man of the earth may oppress no more. (Psalm 10:18)
4. Widows
It was the tears of a widow who mourned the death of her son that touched the heart of Jesus and He raised the widow’s son from the dead (Luke 7:11-15).
Anyone who oppressed the fatherless and widow will be cursed (Luke 20:47). A portion of the tithes should be given to the widows and fatherless (Deuteronomy 26:12).
‘Cursed is the one who perverts the justice due to the stranger, the fatherless, and widow.’ “And all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’ (Deuteronomy 27:19)
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you devour widows’ houses, and for a pretense make long prayers. Therefore you will receive greater condemnation. (Matthew 23:14)
Honor widows who are really widows. (1 Timothy 5:3)
5. Poor and Needy
The Lord loves the poor and needy so much that He commanded His people to always help them. The Lord will bring justice and deliver the poor and needy when they need help.
For the poor will never cease from the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall open your hand wide to your brother, to your poor and your needy, in your land.’Deuteronomy 15:11 For He will deliver the needy when he cries, The poor also, and him who has no helper.Psalm 72:12
6. You!
Yes! You!
In spite of!
You! With all your flaws!
Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life. (Isaiah 43:4)
You!
Whether you are rich or poor; black, white, red or brown.
The Lord loves you just the way you are and He is calling you to Him.
The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you. (Jeremiah 31:3)
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! (Psalms 139:17)
Over to you!

This is so beautiful. I love the reminder of all the people God loves who so often fall through the cracks. And especially the reminder that He loves me – flaws and all.
