Exposure!

1–2 minutes

A few days ago, for the first time after the hurricanes, I drove over the hills from Road Town to East End.

It was a rare type of beauty. The landscape lay naked before my eyes stripped from all its covering of shrubs, bushes, and trees.

Yet, it was a brighter and more pleasant sight because the beauty of the calm blue ocean was now visible throughout the entire journey.

Houses and buildings that were once hidden by thick shrubs now reveal themselves whether pretty or ugly; good or bad.

Immediately I think, “Exposure!”

But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. (Ephesians 5:13)

For the day of the Lord of hosts Shall come upon everything proud and lofty, upon everything lifted up— And it shall be brought low— (Isaiah 2:12)

Thank you, Lord!

We are living in serious times and we need to know the provision that God has made for us and how we can be prepared for the return of the Lord.

  1. Prayers for you and all the people affected by the various hurricanes this year. I did not know you lived in the British Virgin Islands.
