A loud cry of lamentation from the four corners of the earth!
The voice of the Lord thunders from the heavens, over the mountains, and below the valleys,
“Where is my Church, my chosen?
Where are you hiding?

What is this you have done to me?
You have gone astray following after strange doctrines.
What have you done?
The voice of the unborn blood is crying out from the dust of the earth.
What is this you have done?
You have listened to the voice of deception and ate the fruits of lies.

What have you done to me?
How have I offended you, that you have brought on me and my kingdom this great sin?
You have done deeds to me that ought not to be done! (Genesis 20:9)
What deed is this you have done?
You have practiced divinations and the sins of witchcraft.
I am grieved in my heart for my people, my first born!
I weep for you because your judgment is fast approaching
And you harden your heart to my plea for repentance.
You killed my prophets, and you despised my servants.

But, you listened to the lies of the false prophets
Because you refused to believe the truth,
And prefer to follow after festive music and empty knowledge.
You corrupted yourselves in the filthiness of this world.
But woe unto you!
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And prudent in their own sight! (Isaiah 5:20-21)

“Woe to the rebellious children,” says the Lord,
“Who take counsel, but not of Me,
And who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to sin.
They go down to Egypt, and have not asked My advice,
To strengthen themselves in the strength of Pharaoh, and to trust in the shadow of Egypt!
Therefore, the strength of Pharaoh shall be your shame,
And your trust in the shadow of Egypt shall be your humiliation. (Isaiah 30:1-3)

But, woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
Woe to you, religious spirits and Jezebels!
For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men;
For you neither go in yourselves nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. (Matthew 23:13)
And again, thus, says the Lord God:
“Woe to the foolish prophets, who follow their own spirit and have seen nothing!
The prophets are like foxes in the deserts.
They have envisioned futility and false divination, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord!’
But the Lord has not sent them;
Yet they hope that the word may be confirmed.

Therefore, thus says the Lord God:
“Because you have spoken nonsense and envisioned lies,
I am indeed against you,”
Thus, says the Lord God:
“I will cause a stormy wind to break forth in My fury;
And there shall be a flooding rain in My anger,
And great hailstones in fury to consume it.
So, I will break down the wall you have plastered with untempered mortar,
And bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation will be uncovered;
It will fall, and you shall be consumed in the midst of it.
Then you shall know that I am the Lord. (Ezekiel 13:3-8; 13-15)

Thus, says the Lord God to the shepherds:
“Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves!
Should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool;
You slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock.
The weak you have not strengthened,
Nor have you healed those who were sick,
Nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away,
Nor sought what was lost;
But with force and cruelty, you have ruled them.

So, they were scattered because there was no shepherd;
And they became food for all the beasts of the field when they were scattered.
My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill;
Yes, My flock was scattered over the whole face of the earth,
And no one was seeking or searching for them.”
The sheep have become goats!
Thus, says the Lord God:
“Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand;
I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep,
And the shepherds shall feed themselves no more;
For I will deliver My flock from their mouths,
That they may no longer be food for them.” (Ezekiel 34:1-10)
Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is at hand;
It shall come as destruction from the Almighty. (Joel 1:15)
Let us cry unto God and repent!
