The Lord our God reigns in heaven.

He sits on His throne on Mount Zion and He rules over the kingdom of men.

God ordains and allows leaders of nations to be established.

He works with a purpose, and most times we don’t understand it, but we only need to trust Him.

Jesus Christ’s ministry on earth was centered on repentance and reestablishing heavenly principles.

Essentially, He came to earth to institute the principles of the kingdom of heaven on earth.

How To Enter The Kingdom Of God

Repentance from sinful ways and a spiritual new birth in Christ (John 3).

The rich man asked Jesus, “What must I do to have eternal life?” (Matthew 19:16)

Throughout the ages people have been searching for the secret to eternal life. They have been searching for the location of the tree of life or the river of life. Some people have been searching for formulas and elixirs.

However, it is not necessary to pursue those routes because Jesus gave us the simple answer to eternal life.

Jesus told the rich man that he should keep the commandments of God.

Yes, all the ten commandments.

The rich man admitted that he had diligently kept them all, but he was still uncertain. He still lacked something because he wanted to be perfect.

So Jesus told him that in order to be perfect he should sell all his wealthy belongings and give to the poor and follow Him.

Of course this was a difficult task that rich man could not do.

I believe none of us can do this task to get eternal life.

Perfection is necessary to obtain eternal life in the kingdom of God, but no humans can accomplish perfection through their own ability.

That was the job for Jesus. He fulfilled all the laws and commandments of God while He was on earth.

Possibly, He gave away all His riches and wealth to the poor to focus on His mission.

Thus, Jesus became perfect and gained eternal life. Neither the wealthy nor the poor can achieve eternal life through perfection.

However, humans can attain this perfection through Jesus Christ by believing and accepting Him.

Thus, you will be able to live by the principles of the Kingdom of God.

Principles of the Kingdom of God

• Faith and trust in God (Mark 4:26-29)
• Shining your light (Matthew 5:16)
• Living by total faith in God (2 Corinthians 5:17).
• Walking in humility (Matthew 18:4)
• Loving God with all your heart and soul (Mark 12:28-34).
• Radically putting away all sins in your life (Mark 9:42-48).
• Becoming good fertile ground (Mark 4:20).

True repentance and transformation by the Holy Spirit will enable believers to activate these key principles in their lives, thus establishing the kingdom of God on earth.
