The Fountain Of Life

1–2 minutes

There is a saying that says:

“You never know the importance of something until you lose it.”

Is this a true statement?

I have experienced the truth in this statement in 2017 when hurricane Irma devastated my home.

We lacked running water and electricity for many weeks. We had to learn to improvise during those trying times.

We have become so accustomed to running water in our homes that we often waste it without giving it a second thought.

“The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, their tongues fail for thirst. I, the Lord, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them. (Isaiah 41:17 NKJV)

Then one day a disaster happens and your water supply is cut off.

You can live without electricity, telephone, and the internet but water is the source of life.

You cannot survive without water!

So it is with the believers in Christ. We cannot live without the living water from the Lord Jesus Christ.

When you drink this water you will never thirst again because it is like an everlasting fountain that continuously bubbling in your soul.

This water continuously revives and refreshes you.

This living water will restore your soul.

This water will cause you to be a tree who continuously bears fruits in its season. Your leaves will never wither and you will prosper in everything that you do.

The living water will keep you attached to the vine.

I encourage you to drink from it. Amen!

  2. Yes, this is true. We lost everything to Hurricane Katrina in 2005. But the living water that Christ gives gave us life throughout the whole ordeal. Whoever drinks of this water will never thirst for anything.
